Zdravím,
chtěl bych požádat o pomoc s instalací driverů pro intel HD 4000. Z https://01.org/linuxgraphics/downloads jsem stáhnul "Intel Graphics Installer for Linux* 1.2.0", ale při pokusu o instalaci dojede ukazatel na 9% a pak nic (ani chybová hláška). Tak zjistil jsem že je to "stará verze" a je teřba instalovat "INTEL GRAPHICS UPDATE TOOL FOR LINUX* OS V2.0.5", no ta taky nefunguje:

Co jsem se dozvěděl, tak by mohl být problém v souboru /etc/apt/source.list. Jeho obsah je zde:

Nejnovější ovladače pro Intel HD grafické karty jsou již v jádře, není potřeba instalovat cokoliv jiného. Jde o ovladač i-965-va-driver > VAAPI driver for Intel G45 & HD Graphics family:
The VA-API (Video Acceleration API) enables hardware accelerated video
decode/encode at various entry-points (VLD, IDCT, Motion Compensation
etc.) for the prevailing coding standards today (MPEG-2, MPEG-4
ASP/H.263, MPEG-4 AVC/H.264, and VC-1/WMV3). It provides an interface
to fully expose the video decode capabilities in today's GPUs.
This package contains the video decode and encode driver backend for the
Intel G45 chipsets and Intel HD Graphics for the Intel Core processor family.
The supported platforms include:
* Cantiga, Intel GMA 4500MHD (GM45)
* Ironlake, Intel HD Graphics for 2010 Intel Core processor family
* Sandy Bridge, Intel HD Graphics for 2011 Intel Core processor family

Ano, to jsem četl, ale mám podezření že mi nefunguje správně akcelerace třeba ve VLC, kdy u H.264 je vytěžován CPU stále stejně. Dále jsme čekal že v tom SW od Intelu bude nějaké "rozsáhlejší" nastavení co se týče výkonu, displejů a tak.
A pokud to teda tak má být, proč mi sudo apt-get update vypisuje ty "varování" na konci?

Ta akceleracia sa nastavuje vo vlc. Tam to mas? vlc-nastroje-nastavenia-video a v polozke vystup si nastavis co pojde najlepsie.

Ano, právě dle toho to posuzuju, srovnávám vytížení CPU s vypnutou akcelerací a pak s různými nastaveními a bezezměny.
A pak ten výpis v terminálu...
