Tak to jsi na tom líp, než já, pokud má ta wifina čip atheros.

Je tam certifikovaná karta Atheros 9285, jenže zrovna ta má ve 12.04 obrovské problémy

Já tam mám Atheros AR9285. Nicméně třeba BT za boha nejede. Stejně mám ten netbook moc rád. Byl za 7000 s 2G paměti a 250G diskem, CPU E-350. Akorát sem do něj nacpal další 4 G paměti. Pravda, v některých distrech nejede čtečka karet. Na Ubuntu 11.10 na to byl postup, jak čtečku zprovoznit. Budu zkoušet další distra. Nejlíp nějaký odlehčený kvůli výkonu

Nemusíš nic zkoušet, zkoušel jsem a naprosto luxusně na tom funguje PCLinuxOS, jen se musí doladit ALSA

Kouknu na něj. Zkoušel sem SolusOS 2 Alpha A5. Vypadá pěkně a je krásně rychlej. Akorát zatím není stable version.

Mám Lenovo S205 /AMD E-450, ATA WDC WD5000BPVT-2 (scsi)
/ a postupoval jsem následujícím způsobem:

    - instalace(autoinstalace) z USB disku UBUNTU 12.04  - bez výsledku, instalace proběhne bez chyby, systém nenabutuje
    - poté jsem vyzkoušel tento návod

Pročetl jsem celou řadu návodů a doporučení jak na tomto foru tak jinde - ale všechno skončilo bezvýsledně - systém nenabutuje. Vyzkoušel jsem Mandrivu, OpenSuse, XUBUNTU, PCLinux.

Nahradit GRUB2 za GRUB1 by mělo stačit, ale za nic neručím, EFI v tomhle netbooku je hroznej křáp a jak jsem psal výše, existuje milion revizí, každá jinej HW

Já mám zase S205 bez EFI s Biosem...ale když lenovo použije 4 fyzické oddíly a je to firemní stroj, tak je vymalováno.

Takhle to nepůjde, evidentně děláš něco blbě. Drž se striktně toho prvního postu a to včetně dělení disku, pokud tam ovšem máš Windows, tak se na to můžeš rovnou vybodnout, EFI téhle věci nepodporuje multiboot

Zatím tam vidím, že jako /dev/sda1 máš vfat, což je úplně špatně

Tak jsem to pusti znou a postupoval jsem presne dle prvniho postu a tady je vysledek /widle tam nemam - koupil jsem si to bez OS/:

Teď tam podle mě není žádná chyba, takže bych zkusil znovu se přes Live chrootnout do systému a zkusit zadat

grub-install /dev/sda1 jo a taky jí prý nutné jít potom do BIOSu a nastavit boot sekvenci znova tak aby HDD bylo první

v BIOS jsem nastavil HDD jako prvni  / beze zmen - nelze nabootovat.

Tak to už nevím, jak už jsem psal výše, je toho milion revizí, každá jinej HW, univerzální postup prakticky neexsituje. Zatím mám zkušenosti se 3 S205 a u každé jsem musel experimentovat.

Některá Lenova mají kromě vstupu do BIOSu a Boot menu ještě hotkey pro nastavení chování EFI, zkus se podívat jestli ti při startu BIOS ještě něco takového neukazuje, mělo by to být pod F1

Jarda22: prosímtě, dej si tu práci a edituj skoro všechny svoje příspěvky v tomto vlákně a ty konzolové výtahy dej do code, nedá se to číst!
PP v kolečku - není licence,pouze upozornění na reklamu
"Dress code" - oblečení podle předpisu(ne kódované oblečení)
CC v kolečku - je licence,značí,že se někdo nesmírně snaží

Ano, melo ale bohuzel nejde. Pri instalaci dam pouzit cely disk. Instalace vzdy probehne bez potizi, ale system nenabootuje.
Zkousel jsem take rucni deleni disku s EFI partition a take bez / jak je tadz uveden postup a je to sopard stejny.

Rovnez jsem zkousel OpenSuse,  PCLinux - vysledek vzdy stejny - nenabootuje.

Kdyz jsem delal uplne prvni instalaci UBUNTU 12.04 / probehla bez problemu a temer vse fungovalo - az na WiFi. Tak jsem to "ladil" tak dlouho, az jsem to musel preinstalovat. A od te doby se mi nedari tam dostat zadny system.

Tak jsme to vyzkoušel - celý disk jako ext2 bez swap.
Nejdřív se instalace 3 x vůbec nepovedla - úplně to zkolabovalo asi v 70% instalace. Povedlo se to až na 4 pokus s tímto výsledkem:

Po intslaci se to pokoušelo butovat, asi na 2-3 sekundy se objevila hlaška, kterou jsem nestačil přečíst a podtím bylo:

Pak to zmizelo a naběhlo to do nabídky z čeho butovat tj. disk nebo USB.V BIOS natsvené na prvním místě butování z HDD.
Po restartu se tam ale již žádná hláška neobjevila, rovněž tak se tam neobjevilo

Tak nevím -  teď jdu vyzkoušet:
/dev/sda1  - 40 GB - ext2  - /
/dev/sda2 - 450GB - ext4 - /home
/dev/sda3 - 8 GB - swap

Uvidím jak to dopadne.

Ak bude na zaciatku napisane nieco podobne ako toto:

Tak bude treba vytvorit novu Partition table msdos, kedze gpt neni podporovana a zopakovat Instalaciu OS.
