A jakou máte Grafickou kartu?? Teď jsem konečně zjistil snad správně, kde se dá nastavit ovladač grafiky atd.  Spusttě si v konzoli

gksudo displayconfig-gtka tam se zkuste podívat popřípadě jsi změnit ovladač podle vaší graf. karty.

Věříte, že já celou dobu v Hardym taky ?? Nikde v nabídce jsem to právě nenašel tak sem se díval do Synapticu jestli tam nechybí nějaký balíček nebo něco a našel sem tam tento balíček a jen se podíval, kde je nainstalován a stačilo jej jen spustit  . Ve starém Xserveru jsem to měnil pouze přes soubor xorg.conf a nikdy ne přes tahle grafická udělátka.

taky děkuji, dělám to paralelně s Vámi :-)
HH zatím nic moc, vše co mi v 7.10 fungovalo (grafika, rozlišení, obnovovací frekvence monitoru, 3D akcelerace) tady ani náhodou :-(
