Dobry den. Potrebujem rychlu radu ako rozbehat tuto kamerku pod Skype. Nainstaloval som si tento ovladac: ov51x-jpeg-1.5.9. Ale nepomohlo to. A ani pridanie tohoto: options ov51x-jpeg forceblock=1 do options ako je v tomto navode:http://wiki.ubuntu.cz/Webkamery/Ov51x-jpeg. Ale predsa sa my to nejak podarylo rozbehat. A v skype my ten obraz z kamerky pekne isiel no teraz je tam len farebny "sum" Myslim ze hlavna pricina ze to islo bolo nainstalovat toto: ov51x-jpeg-1.5.9 priamo zo synapticu. Cez program XawTV som sa hral z nadstaveniamy a nakoniec my znicoho nic vipadol obraz a od vtedy sa my to uz nepodarylo rozbehat :(. Ide to len cez XawTV ale cez Skype nie. Ale v XawTV je v kazdom druhom "riadku" pruh. Ked dam full screen tak uz su tam neni. Ale ked kamerka isla aj v Skype tak pruhy neboly ani v malom okienku. Dakujem za rychlu odpoved. Lebo kamerku velmy surne potrebujem :(. Dakujem za kazdy napad :)

Se zapojenou kamerou tu dej výstup z
lsusb
uname -a
skype --version(více informací ke kameře atd.), případně připoj část dmesg týkající se té kamery.
Co jsem zjistil, vývojář ovladače projekt opustil, ale možná by Ti mohl jít gspca ovladač.

Ten výpis vypadá OK, systém kameru rozpozná, používá gspca modul, nedává chyby. Zkus ještě tento postup (anglicky) (http://newyork.ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=7846328&postcount=117), a pokud to nepomůže, dej tu ještě výpis z

Nepomohlo. A este ktomu. Kamerka nejde vobec!
Ten odkaz popisoval jen změnu ve Skype konfiguračním souboru /home/user/.Skype/skype-user/config.xml, takže by na kameru jako takovou neměl mít žádný vliv. Pokud si ale myslíš, že ano, vrať ty změny zpátky: obnov zálohu, příp. vymaž ty řádky, které jsi do souboru přidal.
V těch Tvých výpisech nevidím žádnou chybu, takže už nevím, co bych Ti poradil. V Jaunty by už nemělo být potřeba instalovat ovladač, vše obstarává gspca modul, který je v jádře. Takže by možná pomohla odinstalace toho starého ov51x ovladače, ale těžko říct.
Jediné vlákno, kde uživatelé tvrdí, že tu kameru rozchodili, jsem našel tady (http://newyork.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=272328). Podívej se na to, ale asi přeskoč začátek, protože ten se netýká Jaunty. Anebo tu kameru zkus připojit "načisto" v LiveCD.
Napiš, jak jsi dopadl ;)

Podla mna to nejde prave preto ze je tam ten gspca modul. Lebo to tam naozaj bolo od zaciatku. Kamerku najde: Eyetoy atd.. viberiem hu a dam test ale obraz tam nieje. Ked sa my to podarylo raz rozchodit tak to bolo prave stym ov51x. Tam my ta kamerka pekne isla ale neviem ako to vratiti naspat uz sto krat som to preinstaloval a restartoval pc ale uz nikdy my ta kamerka nenabehla. Keby som vedel ako vratit toto ov51x naspat.

Aby to fungovalo i po restartu, mělo by stačit přidat ov51x-jpeg do /etc/modules a blacklist gspca do /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf (jako root). Radši ty soubory před úpravami zálohuj.
