Možná podle nadpisu myslíte ze se jedna o duplicitní thread, ale je to jinak, mam nainstalovany ovladace na svoji ASUS nVidia GeForce 6200, v xorg.conf mam nastaveny jen rozliseni 1024x768 ale stejne se mi to zobrazuje jen v rozliseni 800x600, jeste verzi Ubuntu mam 6.10...diky

Radši ten xorg.conf pošlete.
Dále se podívejte do /var/log/Xorg.0.log a hledejte, jestli tam není něco o rozlišení...

mno v tom souboru je ze rozliseni 1024x768 neni validni mod...

tak tendle problem sem vyresil prechodem na ubuntu 7.04
