Název: Heroes M&M V.

Nainstaloval som si Heroes 5 cez wine. Problem nastava pri spustani, cela grafika je tmava a ciernobiela. Neviete mi poradit ako to odstranit? Pridavam screen: http://www.ulozisko.sk/51817-Obrazovka.png.html (http://www.ulozisko.sk/51817-Obrazovka.png.html)

na winedb pod hrou je howto, takze muzete zkusit jedno z nasledujiciho >
    *  If the setup program asks for 'setup.exe', kill it, and then run 'killall -9 IKernel.exe'
    * Place d3dx9_25.dll in Wine's windows/system32 directory
    * To allow camera change by holding down the right mouse button, edit input.cfg found in <game dir>/profiles/<profile name> and change MOUSE_AXIS_X & MOUSE_AXIS_Y to 90. The C: drive can normally be found in ~/.wine/drive_c.
    * If the game does not allow you to choose a resolution higher than 1024x768, run regedit and add the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\Direct3D, then add the string value VideoMemorySize and set it to the amount of video memory you have

a mate nainstalovany directx? jinak s wine je to vzdy trochu alchymie, muzete zkusit procist jeste tu diskuzi co je pod tim, treba se tam neco podobneho resi...

Asi bude problem s tim directx. Ale on se tvari ze naistalovany je a zkousel jsem i testy a ty dopadly dobre. Pravda je, ze kdyz se pokusim spustit hru, tak to bud hodi chybu na directx, nebo ju nehodi a spadne to. Momentalne nejsu schopen prijit na souvislost, kdy to tu chybu vyhodi a kdy ne. Postupoval jsem dle tohoto navodu, ale zkousel jsem i instalaci pres winetricks a takz primo Dsetup.exe obsazenej primo v ty hre.

DirectX installation

Once Wine configured, we download some files needed to install DirectX:

/usr/bin/wget http://howto.landure.fr/gnu-linux/installer-directx-9-0c-avec-wine/mscoree.dll \

And we register DirectX DLLs as native in the registry:

/usr/bin/regedit /tmp/directx.reg

We download DirectX 9.0c installer:

/usr/bin/wget http://howto.landure.fr/gnu-linux/installer-directx-9-0c-avec-wine/directx_mar2008_redist.exe \
     --output-document=/tmp/directx_redist.exe

We extract its contents:

/bin/mkdir $HOME/.wine/drive_c/DIRECTX
/usr/bin/cabextract -d $HOME/.wine/drive_c/DIRECTX /tmp/directx_redist.exe

And we install DirectX 9 :

/usr/bin/wine "C:\DIRECTX\DXSETUP.exe"

You can now test your installation by running dxdiag:

/usr/bin/wine "C:\windows\system32\dxdiag.exe"

Note: The test is to actually run dxdiag, don't expect all tests runned by this software to work.

Once the install done and tested, we can do a little clean up:

/bin/rm /tmp/directx_redist.exe
/bin/rm -r $HOME/.wine/drive_c/DIRECTX

tak ono wine porad neco vypisuje, nemusi to byt nutne problem. directx se instaluje prez winetricks, mel  by se spustit instalator jako ve win, neco odklikat a je hotovo :)

Jak funguje to nastaveni ve winecfg/knihovny? Vsechny co tam jsou vypsany pouziva? A co nativni? nebo vestavena?

AFAIK tak knihovny jsou v .wine/drive_c/windows/win32. ve winecfg si muzete pro urcite programi naklikat urcite knihovny

Ja to asi vzdavam. Sice mne to hodne mrzi, protoze jsu dost zklamanej, ale evidentne nemam dostatecne znalosti a schopnosti, abych to rozchodil. Zklamani je o to vetsi, ze nejsu moc narocnej na hry a hlavne mne zadna nedokaze uspokojit na vic jak na 10 hod.az na heroes. S II jsem vydrzel asi rok. S III jsem vydrzel dobry 3-4 roky, ale uz se taky omrzela (zvlast kdyz mam kazdou mapu projetou asi 5*. Ja si heroes V  skousel u kamosa a vim ze ke spokojenosti by bohatela stacili na dlouhou dobu. Bohuzel si asi budu muset pockat jestli to nekdo nekdz prelozi na linux.

Vím že to asi moc nepomůže, ale HOMAM V mi jede s datadiskem úplně v pořádku. Dokonce bez DX9 pokud se nepletu.

Stáhni si zkušební verzi cedega, když ti to přes ní pošlape tak si ji pak i kup. Já jí mám a jen málokdy se mi stane že se některá hra nainstaluje a pak nespustí, a u wine zkoušej nastavovat kompaktibilitu Win2000 a XP, docela často to dokáže řešit problémy s grafikou, a pokud možno tak instalovat poslední verzi ovladačů na grafiku, taky to někdy pomůže

Asi bych to radit neměl, neb to zavání warezem. Hra chodí naprosto bez problémů, pouze je nutné použít (i při legálně vlastněné a nainstalované hře  :)+nainstalovém DirectX 9) cracknutý spuštěcí soubor. Více jistě napoví strejda Google, nechceš-li stahovat onen soubor, válí se na webu návod jak ho hacknout vl. silami. Jen doplním že hra chodí ve všech verzích ubuntu od 7.04 výše (tedy i v Jaunty)

Ještě doplním, jedná se původní V. verzi HoMM. Tribes of the East jede bez dalších opičáren. ;)
