aspon tak mi ju identifikovalo lspci..

Ahojte,

V ubuntu II mi nejde tato sietova karta... no v predchaddzajucej verzii mi sla... zistil som ze je to novym jadrom,.. pretoze som teraz nabootoval do kubuntu 8.04 s jadrom 26.24... a tam mi to ide, no ako nahle som v ubuntu 8.10 alebo kubnutu 8.10... tak mi nejde.. Da sa nejak zaviest ten ovladac do jadra zo starej do new verzie ? Pojde to spravit aj v liveCD kubuntu? Router potrebujem v ramci skusania a ak mi nepojde sietovka, tak ma to bude dost mrziet :-/

drivery z 21.10 od výrobce: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=14&PFid=7&Level=5&Conn=4&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false

snad to pomůže

a dávejte raději výstup z

lspci -nn, vendor a device ID se většinou lépe hledají než nějaký název

dakujem, sietovka je zavedena, ked som dal lsmod | grep r8101 vypisalo ju. Lenze ked kliknem do apletu siete, vlastnosti, je tam stale len lo a ppp0 Lan nemam ako odskusat, ale ked som zapojil internetovy kabel do routra, stale nie som pripojeny, ani po restarte :(

zatial som sa dostal po ifconfig -a v tom read me, dalej uz pokracovat neviem bo som z toho jelen trocha a nechcem to zhorsit este viac  ::)

Předpokládám že jste podle readme postupoval, dejte sem výpisy co to píše.

síťovka vypadá že je naživu, jen nemá přidělenu IP adresu, dejte ještě výpis

pridejte do /etc/network/interfaces

nebo misto dhcp static a řádky address, netmask, gateway
nevim jak se do toho plete network manager, ale pokud vim tak nedokaze obsluhovat vice adapteru najednou

je otazka jestli po restartu zas nenabehl ten puvodni driver, ten by se pripadne musel dat do blasklistu. Nevim jestli to uz neudelal instalator takze zkuste toto a dejte vedet co pise:
