Dobry den, pouzivam NVIDIA Geforce 2 MX400 a mam problem s akceleraci. Pokazde kdyz povolim nesvobodny ovladac ve spravci hardwaru restartuji pocitac aby se zmeny provedly ale misto toho se mi zobrazi dialogove okno s nekolika chybovymi hlasenim o NVIDIi a vyberem jestli spustit ubuntu v nizjkografickem rezimu nebo vratit puvodni nastaveni atd..
Zkousel sem hodne veci ale zadna nezabrala. Kdyz sem se pousel nainstalovat ovladace rucne tak mi to zase yhodilo cosi ze nemam kernel nebo tak.. Proto pisu sem snad mi poradite. Diky.

Jo jeste dodam ze se jedna o UBUNTU 8.10 a na UBUNTU 7.10 to slo v poradku

A ted se podrzte odstranil sem veskere drivery na NVIDII kernel a vsechno co stim souvisi :D a glxgears mi funguje a glxinfo pise direct rendering yes

Mě to vypisuje to samé, akorát mám grafiku ATI Radeon X600. V ovladačích hardwaru nemám vůbec nic.
Když si chci nainstalovat binární ovladač ATI, vyskočí mi
Následující balíky mají nesplněné závislosti:
xorg-driver-fglrx : Závisí na: fglrx ale nebude se instalovat
E: Poškozené balíky
