Dobrý den,
mám takový problém. Včera jsem instaloval poprvé ubuntu a asi sem udělal něco se zavaděči. Linux slape ale windows uz neběží, nechce se vůbec naBOOTovat nevim jak tento problém vyřešit. Díky za snahu mi pomoct :(

Pošlete výpis:
gksudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst
EDIT Želva: Grafické aplikace pod rootem se musí spouštět pomocí GKsudo, ne pouze pomocí sudo. Může dojít k vážné havárii systému.
a rozdělení disku... jestli nevíte jak nainstalujte gParted:
sudo apt-get install gparted
a spusťte ho...a klávesou Print-SCreen nám vyfoťte výstup...a pošlete obrázek ;)
Někdo Vám to již upraví...

omg... čtěte http://wiki.ubuntu.cz/Root%20sudo (bude to chtít trochu studovat... linux není windows)
když zadáte sudo není nic vidět jak se píše...ale ty znaky tam jsou... použijte aktuální heslo ;)

Co to pise, kdyz zvolite bootovat Windows ?

zobrazi se momentalne konzole ktera zacina "grub>" jo a editoval sem menu.lst bez vysledne

na který disk jsi nainstaloval GRUB? (pokud jsi nic nenastavoval, tak to bude asi ten disk s Ubuntu)

Obnov zavadec windows (vyhledej si na support windows)a pak zavadec GRUB (navod na wiki)

Obnov zavaděč win - vložíš instalční CD windows, vlezeš do konzole pro zotavení a zadáš příkaz fixmbr. Poté zkus, zda ti najedou windows a pokud ano obnov zavaděč Grub a to tímto zlůsobem:
- nabootuj live CD Ubuntu
- spust terminál
- postupně vlož tyto příkazy:
sudo grubfind /boot/grub/stage1root (tocovypíšepředchozípříkaz) např root (hd0,3)
setup (hd0) popřípadě nulu nahraď pokud máš jiné označení disku
quit
poté restart a mělo by to fungovat.

Mám podezdření, že GRUB se mu nainstaloval na sdb, kde má aj zbytek ubuntu. V tom případě by mělo být u záznamu s Widlema
root (hd1,0)a neroot (hd0,0)
