Dobry den mam nasledovny problem,
nainstaloval som si na notebook UBUNTU 9.04 64bit. Mal som povodne hdd rozdeleny na 2 casti pod windows na system a data (C,D). Pre ubuntu som data oblast zmensil a vyclenil 12 GB dat. Na tento "unpartioned space" som nechal instalator Ubuntu aby urobil instalaciu. Nainstaloval kasicky Grub so standardnou ponukou vcitane WINXP. Ale je problem po spusteni win XP mi vypise chybajuci subol hal.dll v system32. Tak som nastartoval recovery console z instal cd a chcel doinstalovat chybajuci subor ked som zistil ze win nebootuje preto ze ma prehodene disky. Datovy je teraz C:\ a systemovy D:\. Prosim pomozte co s tym? Neviem ci pomoze fixmbr z recovery console ked su disky logicky naopak aj v nej. A co potom s UBUNTU?

Zkuste sem poslat vypis souboru /boot/grub/menu.lst a vypis prikazu sudo fdisk -l (a jestli muzete, oznacte, ktera partition obsahuje OS Windows), mam pocit, me byste mohl mit spatne nakonfigurovany GRUB.

Zkus si s tim pohrát v cfdisku... Urcite tam nekde pde nastavit ho jako začáteční nebo první nebo tak něco....

nebo tak něco je nastavení bootovacícho příznaku. To ovšem neřeší to, že se bootuje z jiného disku.

Zápis do soubor menu.lst bude možný jen s právy roota, tj. pokud ho budete upravovat v konzoli, tak třeba příkazem sudo nano /boot/grub/menu.lst a nebo v Gnome Alt-F2 -> gksudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst

Ono to ma nejake divne particie lebo systemovy win oddiel na extended disku /dev/sda5 ktory je pod /dev/sda1 vid screenshot

vite niekto poradit ako to opravit tak aby som znovu pristup k windows, ubuntu mam cistu instalaciu tu si popripade nahodim odznova dakujem

Tak som si pomohol sam, universal boot cd s aplikaciami paragon a acronis - v paragon disk manager som zmenil systemovu oblast s extended na primary a naopak a nastavil ho ako aktivnu particiu. A win XP bootuje akurat som prisiel o GRUB ale to hadam vyriesim

Ano, dakujem nasiel som to aj pred tym uz je to vsetko ok botuje aj win aj ubuntu. :D
