Po prechodu z 8.04 na 10.04 a bezproblemove instalaci (upgradu z alternate CD) to na uplnem konci vypise mraky hlasek pod sebou, ze to nemohlo neco zapsat a po restartu dostanu hlasky viz foto:

Mam dve otazky:
1. Pujde to vyresit obnovou z navodu na http://wiki.ubuntu.cz/GRUB2
2. Uz mi to udelal druhy PC ze ctyr, coz je nemile, mam jich preinstalovavat cca 30. Jak tomu muzu predejit?
Problem je v tom, ze i kdyz na techto PC udelam cistou instalaci 10.04, stejne to nenabehne, dokonce ani grub se pak nespusti.
Jsou to instalace vedle XP jako dualboot, ale nevim, jestli to ma vliv, spis bych tipoval, ze ne.

Hmm, to je příliš mnoho problémů najednou, to se snad takto pohromadě nedá vyřešit. Můžeš prosím vybrat jeden počítač, jednu situaci (co tě nejvíc trápí a potřebuješ vyřešit nejdříve), popsat problém, a příp. připojit výpis z boot_info_script (http://forum.ubuntu.cz/index.php/topic,38595.msg282696.html#msg282696)?

To je jedna situace, je stejna na obou PC.
K tomu logu se dostanu jak, kdyz mi to nenabehne?
Edit: Problem bude na 99% s Grubem, protoze kdyz se z live DVD podivam na disk, tak je tam cela struktura a adresaru, akorat on proste nevidi ten ubuntovy disk (asi).
Nasel jsem nekde na webu vlakno, kde upozornovali, ze to dela kombinace master/slave versus cable select v najumporovani hdd (disk i cd jsou na jedne ksande), ale ja to mam tak, jak oni pisou a na dalsim pc, kde byla tataz chyba, to je PATA disk + SATA DVD.

po restartu dostanu hlasky viz foto:

stejne to nenabehne, dokonce ani grub se pak nespusti.

Ten screenshot je po upgrade systemu a tyka se prvnich dvou radku + obou tazek.
To co jsem psal potom, ze to nenabehne ani do grubu po restartu bylo doplnujici info, ze i kdyz na tom PC udelam cistou instalaci vedle XP, situace se nelepsi. Nicmene hlavni problem je ten uvedeny na zacatku - upgrade z 8.04 na 10.04 a po restartu po probehnuvsim upgradu mam z recovery console vyse uvedeny vypis.

Je to důležité, protože tyto dva problémy spolu vůbec nesouvisí.
Zkus v Grubu vybrat starší kernel (2.6.24-16), ale jen v Recovery Mode!

Snad jen zkontroluj HDD, jestli je v pořádku.

Dobre, ale proto jsem psal, ze reinstal to nevyresil, nicmene uznavam, ze budete chtit hlasky z reinstalovaneho systemu - asi si 10.04 nedokaze poradit s tou konfiguraci. Vyhled je, ze to bude delat nemale procento stroju, proto jsem se i ptal na nejakou prevenci.

Prevenci nevím, dodal jsi málo informací. Jasné je jen to, že se upgrade NEdokončil, ale proč, to takhle nezjistím. Údaje sice asi budou v /var/log/dist-upgrade, ale je otázka, jestli to k něčemu bude.
Samozřejmě na vzorovém zdroji nejdřív vyzkoušej LiveCD, pokud to jde.

Live CD jede vsude, instalaci jsem zkousel z nej "od zacatku" pak ze spusteneho live CD, nepomaha. Jeste zkusim dodat ten log soubor z upgrade, eventuelne dalsi data.
Zatim kazdopadne diky za pomoc.
