Nainstaloval jsem Ubuntu a normálně se zobrazoval GRUB (nebo nabídka výběru systému). Potom jsem nainstaloval WinXP a GRUB zmizel a nyni se mi spusti Win XP :( Pls pomoc!

Ach jo, Příspěvky: 163 Registrovaný: 2006-06-20 a jeste neumi zadat do vyhledavae na foru slovo grub anebo se podivat na 100x odkazovanou Wiki.... :/

Nechapu co mam se stazenym souborem udelat. Ma to byt .iso a pritom to je bz2 archiv. A jak ho mám ve Windows rozbalit?

Jak ve windows ? ty nemají o Grubu ani ponětí ...

No jak je SUPER GRUB DISK tak se stáhne archiv .bz2 a co s ním? Rovnou vypálit?

sgd_0.9532.iso.bz2 - Rozbalit v Total Comanderu a .iso vypálit.

Rozbalíš ho a jako zázrakem na tebe vykoukne soubor s příponou *.iso. Ten pak už normálně vypálíš (v režimu vypálit obraz CD). Jinak při stahování z originálních stránek je to napsané na odkazem - "supergrub cdrom iso inside bz2".

tak jsem se dostal do stejneho problemu. Bohuzel ale nemam tolik stesti jako ostatni. Zkousel jsem vsechny tri metody popsane ve wiki.
Nejvetsi uspech mam se super grub disk, ale take jen castecny. Sice obnovil Grub, ale muzu nabootovat jen do XP. Mam v PC jeden disk, ktery mel puvodne dva OS. WinXP a Kubuntu 6.10. Potom, jsem preinstaloval XP ale fdisk-em jsem ubral z NTFS a vytvoril jeden oddil FAT32. Ted samozrejme nemuzu nabootvat jinam nez do XP. Dokonce ani ten Super Grub Disk to neprekopal, ale je tam moznost boot to gnu/linux directly a s tim se dostanu do puvodniho Kubuntu, ktery ale pro zmenu neumi cist z disku NTFS coz predtim slo. Zkousel jsem stejne postupy v uz nabootovanem Kubuntu, ale proste to konci stejne. Po restartu se tedy ukaze Grub a kdyz zvolim neco jineho nez XP tak to napise Error 17 : Cannot mount selected partition. Poradite nekdo? Jsem Linuxovy zacatecnik. Diky za radu

Podle toho výpisu máš linux na hda3 (čili hd0,2), ale v menu.list máš u Ubuntu hda2(hd0,1), takže v něm přepiš hda2 na hda3 a hd0,1 na hd0,2, neboť na hda2 máš ten FAT32, který se tam zřejmě vnořil jako extended a ostatní disky tak odsunul o jednu pozici dál. Pak si najdi soubor /etc/fstab a v něm si můžeš opravit připojení jednotlivých disků do Kubuntu.

jj. presne tak jsem to udelal. jeste s tim fstabem jsem se trapil, ale nakonec jsem to zvladnul. Mam Linux teprve mesic, takze zadna radast. Diky za pomoc
