Už se tu nějakou dobu snažím zprovoznit nějaký větší rozlišení než je 1024x768, ale nějako se mi nedaří.
Mám grafickou kartu VIA K8M800 a mám i nainstalovaný ovladače xserver-xorg-video-openchrome.
Snažil jsem se to nastavit i ručně příkazem gtf 1280 1024 75 a výpis zkopírovat do xorg.conf, ale ten jsem jaksi v xubuntu 10.04 nenašel?
Nevěděl by jste někdo jak tento problém vyřešit? Děkuju moc.

Tak jsem si nechal vygenerovat xorg.conf zkopíroval jsem ho do /etc/X11/xorg.conf
pak jsem výpis z příkazu gtf 1280 1024 75 zkopíroval do sekce monitor.. dle výpisu:

Este by sa mohlo vyskusat do sekcie "Monitor" pridat vertikalnu a horizontalnu frekvenciu podla parametrov monitora.

A co mas za monitor? Pripadne aka vykonna je ta karta? Neskusal si to generovat pre frekvenciu 60Hz, mozno len nestiha gr. karta pre vyssie frekvencie. Niekedy moze byt ze to co zvlada ovladac vo win. nemusi v linuxe.
gtf 1280 1024 60
a ostatne upravit tiez podla tejto frekvencie a uvidis ci to ponukne aj vyssie rozlisenie. Ak mas LCD monitor tak by 60Hz malo stacit.

Tak, už to funguje, ja jsem tento kód nezkopíroval, jen jsem přepsal co chybělo a na jeden řádek jsem zapoměl. :-( Teď jdou nastavit všechna rozlišení. Při frekvenci 60Hz.
