Ahoj jsem uplný nováček zatím se učím základy ale hned nechápu jednu věc je krásný že tady popisujete terminál a všechny jeho funkce ale jak mám zadat cestu k souboru když jí nevim,mam ve stažené soubory soubor.gz ale jak mam vedet cestu?
Skousel jsem /media/dokumenty/ovladace apod ale opravdu nevim prosím kde na ubuntě remixu zjistím cesty k souboru (ocenil bych neco jako ve windows v exploreru) Problém totiž je že mi nejde wifi a potřebuju nainstalovat ovladače na atheros wifi kartu stahl jsem si je ale nevim jak je naistalovat.Všem moc díky ;)

No ja cestu k suboru viem podla toho, ze ju zadavam ked subor stahujem, ci uz cez prikazovu riadku a wget, alebo cez prehliadac (napr. firefox) ...
Ak cestu nevies, stale je moznost subor najst cez hladanie, v terminaly na to sluzi prikaz find alebo locate.
Ale spat k problemu co mas, tipujem ze adresar/slozku "stažené soubory" mas vo svojom home adresari takze "/home/menouzivatela/stažené soubory" resp "~/stažené soubory".
v terminaly:
cd ~
pwd
ls -la
ci vidis "stažené soubory".
nasledne
cd "stažené soubory"
ls -la
vypise jeho obsah, cize aj soubor.tgz, ale vsetko sa to da robit aj v GUI za pomoci Nautilusa ak nie si kamarat s prikazovou riadkou.

Nejdřív jsem si myslel že je to zase vtip jak už tady bylo asi před měsícem v jednom vlákně kde se na konci ukázalo že si jeden z uživatelů dělá jen legraci z ostatních. Bohůžel tady to asi není vtip. :'(
zadávej tyto příkazy hezky pěkně postupně za sebou do terminálu a pokud je nazačátku příkaz sudo tak to po tobě bude chtít tvé uživatelské heslo a až ho budeš psát tak to bude vypadat jako když nepíšeš ale věz že ho píšeš a poté enter ;)

Pokud ne tak pokračuj dále dle návodu na wiki nebo se ptej dál s tím že jsem zkopíruješ to co ti terminál vyplivnul po zadání těch příkazů.
Já jsem zde velmi rád když se na něco zeptám a nejde se někdo kdo mi poradí ale nikdy mě nenapadlo že je snad povinost pomáhat a ještě k tomu načas .
Snažím se pokud mám chvilku mrknout sem na forum a pokud vím tak velice rád poradím pač vím jak jsou těžké začátky.

Jo hej a lidi tady na forku jsem cetl neco co takle to proste rovnou nastavit ? Nekde sem to tady cetl ze si manualne nastavil pripojeni k wifce bohuzel ja wim proste jenom nazev a heslo ale to by se neak poresilo spis pls neakej prikaz kterej mi zjisti jestli linux vi o ty wifi karte ? :)
Pamatuju si ze ale i na windowsu byly trable s wifkou....

Takze jaky mas vlastne problem? po zapnuti wifi na notebooku vidi ostatni site? nebo nevidi nic? co vypise prikaz iwconfig; iwlist scanning?
Pokud teda jsi si opravdu jisty, ze problem je v ovladacich, zde je step by step navod na instalaci driveru, ktery mne funguje.

Nevidí nic proste prazdný okno.Jisty si nejsem jistym jisty je ze mi nejde wifina a neinstaloval jsem na wifi kartu zadny ovladace.Takze asi ovladace kdyz jsem zadal do terminalu ten iwlist scanning tak mi to napsalo ze interface nepodporuje scanning...

iwconfig skutecne vypsal nejake sitove rozhrani, tak zkus navod, ktery jsem pastnul o prispevek vyse
Zkousel jsem ho jeste nedavno, sice na debianu squeeze, ale na ubuntu by mel jit take.

Nevim podle ceho usuzujete snahu tri dny sem nezapnul PC mam porad drat v netbooku a kdyz prijdu udrenej ve 4 že školy tak se tady valim po koberci a resim wifinu.....co nadelam ale jak sem koukal na zahranicni fora tak bych usoudil ze linux jako vseobecne ma problemy s wifinou ne ? Vsude sem cetl pomala wifi maly dosach apod....

Jaster Wlan0 tam vubec nenajelo ale nemam to neak nastavit rucne jako normalne pridat sit ? I kdyz to by bylo stejne na nic pak ve skole apod...jak sou vtomhle ty widle uplne nekde jinde :) sice komercne ale slapou spolehlive.
Kdyby se nekdo ptal v BIosu je normalne zapla ta wifka...
Nj ale Jaster ja bych chapal kdybych mel neakej netbook z doby za klacka ale tenhle netbook co mam vydis snad vsude,ma ho fakt strasny kvanta lidi aby sis nemyslel ze mam neakou raritu ...

Mám 904HA a wifi mi išla hneď.Skús ten Ndiswraper si nainštalovať, potom si tam dáš iba win ovládač.To je o podpore zo strany výrobcov.A v Jockey(dodatočné ovládače) sa ten driver nainštalovať nedá?

nie exe to nie je.na CD by si mal mať aj súbory s príponou inf a sys.No tak toto treba.Je to app v terminály ale má aj grafickú nadstavbu.Pokial budeš inštalovať cez centrum SW tak by sa ti mala nainštalovať aj tá graf nadstavba.

Myslim, že spousta příspěvků byla zbytečná, tak jsem to promazal od OT.
Hodně ostřílených profíků GdH, phplus se nechá zbytečně vyprovokovat.
Nevím jestli scart trpí nějakou vadou (neber si to osobně) ale zkus si prosím po sobě příspěvek nejdřív přečíst, radši víckrát.
Člověku je srozumitelný text přirozeně čitelnější, než ty kreace co tu vytváříš...

Uff ťažko povedať.Možno eeebuntu alebo po novom aurora OS.Neviem možno google napovie viac.A máš tam aj win? A ide ti tam wifi?Lebo ten príkaz by ti mal ukázať akú kartu wifi tam máš.

J windows tam mam a wifka na nich jde ted jeste zkousim neakej program kterej mi nainstaluje inf ovladac pro windows tak uvidim bohuzel mam ten program ale nemuzu porad najit ten soubor schanim proste Atheros AR2427 Wireless driver.inf :)
Ale nevzdam to budu skouset to porad protoze na ubunte se mi proste libi ten vzhled a celkove ten program je peknej :)

Mam program ovladače bezdrátových zařízení z Windows a když ho zapnu tak tam je vyberte soubor inf: najdu si ho v PC ale kdyz dam instalovat tak to hodi hlasku neplatny ovladac...

sudo reboot neviem či máš lucid, karmic...tak isto neviem , čo hovorí : lsmod | grep ath9k celkovo málo info. Prečítaj si niečo vo Wiki, je tam teho na mraky :P

Ono ta wifina proste musí ísť.Ovládač by mal byť už aj v jadre.A v tých dodatočných ovládačoch (Jockey) sa neponúka na nainštalovanie driver?

FYI, I had a different procedure to enable wireless on UNR 10.04 than the multiple threads talking about UNR 9.04-9.10.
1) Blacklisted generic wireless drivers:
(Or just edit the /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist file and add blacklist bcm43xx, blacklist b43, blacklist b43legacy and blacklist ssb to the end of the file.) Note: This only effects what is loaded at startup, so you will have to reboot to have the bcm43xx drivers disabled. If you have an atheros based card, remember to blacklist not only ath_pci, but also ath_hal, since ndiswrapper won't work if ath_hal is still loaded.
2) Installed ndiswrapper using "Ubuntu Software Center"
3) Downloaded "Wlan_NE785H_GE112H-V7_7_0_377_XP.zip" from the Asus website, and extracted the content.
4) Ran ndiswrapper and added netathw.inf driver. Got an error message, ignored it!
5) Rebooted, and it worked!

Omlouvám se všem za svoje chování.Včera jsem si zkusil stahnout Ubuntu verzi pro netbooky odsuď (já myslel že to je to samé jako ubuntu remix) a wifi mi funguje skvěle :)

Nie tam je teraz prostredie Unity, ktoré je IMHO strašne pomalé a neodladené.Možno sa to už aktualizáciami zmenilo.
