Ahojky,
nejde příliš o ubunťácký problém... ale vždy jste mi tu dobře poradili i s hardwarem.
Mám tu dva stolní PC a potřebuji z nich u dělat jeden... vzít z každého to nejlepší a pokud to půjde, dát to dohromady.
Se šroubováním příliš problém nemám, na svém pc sem tam něco vyměnuji, ale znalosti mám opravdu jen ty co byly zrovna potřeba.
Dokázal byste mi tedy někdo poradit jaká kombinace nebude nejlepší?
Mám zde tento PC HP Compaq dc7700 Convertible Minitower PC (tak jak byl koupen podle mě i zůstal) (http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SupportTaskIndex.jsp?lang=cs&cc=cz&taskId=120&prodTypeId=12454&prodSeriesId=3232028 )
a pak tu mám už takovou více či méně směsku obsahující:
MSI K7T Turbo Motherboard (http://www.iusermanual.com/motherboard/msi-k7t-turbo-motherboard-manual.htm)

grafika RADEON 9550 128 DDR (128bit)
jakýsi větrák YLcooler PCA01 DC 12V 0.23A
zvuk:Nightingle PRO6 (SC-8838)
pak něco pro síť a mikrofon, za označení předpokládám Bestar PM560MSV-C ale google nic neukázat, to už víc píše na bestar T1322
a poslední je karta na 1 normální usb a jedno takové co vede do tiskáren.
Pak tu jsou 2 disky a cd rom, ale to bych zatím neřešila...
Je tu jedna ramka ALGOL s nálepkou Pentium II&III 128M PC133
Může mi nějaký nadšenec doporučit jak to seskládat do funkčního PC? Nebo je jen druhý jednoznačně lepší (+ přidat RAM) ?
Tak jako tak ten výsledek musí být v té černé bedně :-)) takže se přendavání asi nevyhnu :-)

jinak RAM tu ještě mám jinou DDR2 tuším nebo tak něco :-[
inu zkusím to pustit...a nebo to možná radši rozmontuji..stejně jako ten první ;D
už to vidím...ono tam není nic moc co rozebírat :-)))

Omyl tak ten HP mi pustit nepůjde... chce ten modrej VGA k monitoru a já mám jen ten bílej.... /mám jen svůj monitor/...
nestačí specifikace co je na netu???

Tak ono je asi ten HP lepsi. Pokial je to to co je na nete tak to so starsimy komponentami nepojde poskladat. Ale da sa pekne repasovat ten pocitac...nakupis lepsiu grafiku, CPU, RAM,...a to vsetko za par korun z bazaru.

aha, mě to přišlo, jakože ten druhý bude lepší..novější...
popravdě, mým úkolem zatím není nic shánět... jen do té černé pixly dát to nejlepší z obou...
Ten HP je očividně celý integrovaný, nebo jak to nazvat, protože nemá nic co by se krom ram dalo vyndat :-))
Mám pocit, že třeba ta grafika by tam vůbec nešla strčit...nebo se mám shánět po jiném typu "usazení"? měla bych mít totiž jednu ve sklepě :-)) takovou starší... ale zase jestli je tahle novější...
teď jsem z toho trochu jelen :-[

Tak novinky.
Fyzicky má být ten HP novější...dá se tedy předpokládat, že i ta základní deska bude novější...
otázkou tedy je..můžu tam našoupat třeba tu grafiku a zvukovku? z toho druhého?
Má rozhodně lepší ram 2x 512MB ale z popisu nepoznám co je to zač... (zda bych k tomu nemohla přidat ty moje co jsou někde kde je nemůžu najít :-)) )

Kazdopadne to zapni aby sme zistili co je v nutry za HW ;).

můžu si troufnout tam dát tu grafiku z toho druhýho pc? ten má ten konektor ke kterému mám kablík ;)
nerada bych tam něco spálila..nebo tak..

Pokial je tam na to slot tak by nemal byt problem. Teda ak to zdroj utiahne.

Noo tak změna, ta grafika tam nešla. Ale mám jednu svou "záložní" ta tam pásla.
Aby toho nebylo málo našla jsem nakonec i redukci VGA na to HDMI (nebo tak nějak?)
Ale přesto jsem tam nechala tu svou grafiku. Níže jsou printscreeny, jestli k něčemu budou...
lze ve win vyvolat nějak v příkazovém řádku co PC má? tohle mi přijde takový k ničemu..

ne, vypada to, ze zrovna cast o zakladni desce jsi nezkopirovala, ale maximum je tam kazdopadne 4GB (ten 1MB je pamet biosu, nebo neco takovyho), k ram patri jen tohle:

Lebo ten jeden je s tým druhým nekompatibilný. Možno ta zvukovka by ešte išla. Ale neviem, že či tam najdeš taký(asi klasický PCI) slot.

ahá, takže, nacpu-li tam ty karty...jako že tam budou pasovat (třeba ta grafika tam nešla) tak je tam můžu nechat?
HDD z toho druhého podle všeho nezapojím, jsou na PATA připojení a to podle návodu tento PC nepodporuje...takže asi smolík. disky připojím jinam a data prohlídnu.
Ta zvukovka tam podle všeho bude fyzicky "pasovat"
Beztak tu mám jen 2 volné sloty :-) a USB vstupů je na tom černém habaděj, takže asi není třeba nic přidávat
Já bych tomu taky chěla rozumnět ::) učím se jen tímhle způsobem ;D
Jak zjistím, že ta zvukovka by tam být neměla? Aby to nevyhořelo v okamžiku kdy na tom někdo ohulí nějaký film... ???

:D keď je napísané, že nepodporuje PATA tak to tam asi fakt nepôjde dať. Ale je to divné. Ak sa nemýlim tak aj moja doska má PATA konektor. Ale neskúšal som. Skús uvidíš. Buď pôjde alebo nie.

Ono to vskutku není kam zapojit.. má to jeden černý "pata" vstup na desce, ale ten je podle návodu na floppy :-) to mi přijde ulítlý :-)))
Jinak, můžeš mi ještě vysvětlit "grafickou" stránku věci?
Ten pc neměl grafiku... ale má na základní desce vstup VGA (modrý). Tzn, že to pojede i bez grafiky? Předpokládám, že půjde jen o nějaký základ a žádné extra srandičky na tom nepůjdou?
Já tam bouchla jednu, jak jsem psala..lehce starší..zdá se, že tam budu muset stáhnout ještě nějaký ovladač, protože mi nepřišlo prostředí supergrafický (jsou tam XP)... nebo je tam ta grafika k ničemu?
Mě ten HP pc přijde celkem v pohodě..pro běžné domácí použítí, typu internet, dokument a karty :-)), co myslíš?
usb to má hromadu, pokud se chytí ta zvukovka (nezkoušela jsem zatím) tak se na tom bude moc i pěkně zvučet, RAM půjde rozšířit na 4 GB...disk SATA je dnes každý první...
otázka č. 2. Jaký je rozdíl mezi SATA II a SATA III? koukala jsem na web jen tak pro orientaci..jak poznám jaký typ SATA kupovat do tohoto PC?

To bude asi napísané na stránke HP. Hej je to v pohode na tie klasické veci. Grafiku to má integrovanú na matičnej doske. Preto je tam ten výstup :). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gk9oGRAxo6U (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gk9oGRAxo6U) pre teba je podstatná rýchlosť. A myslím si, že do toho HP pojde iba SATA.

Nicméně ta grafika co jsem tam dala tomu nijak nevadí ne? beztak si majitel chce koupit nový monitor..něco luxusnějšího.. prý s tunerem či co...a to už bude potřebovat ten bílý vstup..předpokládám.

jestli tomu dobře rozumím budu vybírat v sekci Pevné disky 3,5" SATA II (sata I není? ;D)
mě v popisu k desce mátlo asi toto "Další pevné disky SATA připojte k dalšímu dostupnému (neobsazenému) konektoru SATA na systémové desce, a to v následujícím pořadí: SATA0, SATA1, SATA3, SATA2."

proč mi nejede ten počítač se 4 ramkama (ddr2 každá má 512bm PC2-5300)
Ty první dvě jsou zmíněné níže, druhé dvě jsou Geil (ddr2-667 cl=5-5-5-15)
a jede mi to jen s jednou tou Geil (+2 ty dvě původní) ??? přičemž deska má daleko větší kapacitu. Tak ted nevím jestli ta jedna geil tam má vůbec smysl.

SATA je. SATA II a SATA III sú iba rýchlejšie. Taký marketingový ťah. Ludia to v podstate ani nepotrebujú. Aj keď práve väčšinou je disk práve tam brzda rýchlosti. Možno je poškodená? Neviem. Skús urobiť memtest. Tá integrovaná je aká? A tá čo si tam pridala? A na tom má bežať linux?

uj, integrovaná? myslíš ramka? integrovaná není žádná ne? všechny jdou vyndat ;D (asi mluvíš o grafice, že?)
Udělám memtest z cdlive? Ramky by měly být všechny 4 OK.. :-( Napadlo mě jestli není problém někde v těch frenvencích či hercích (úplná neznámá pro mě :-[ )
PC se na všech 4 "nezapne" zapne, ale ani úvodní obrazovka se neukáže. Tak jsem jednu vyndala a běží to.. i jsem se je snažila dát do správného pořadí jak píšou v návodu ::)
jinak na tom poběží winy... jsou tam licencované...žádná černota, tak si myslím, že tam i zůstanou :P já bych tam dala ubuntu hned ;D v těch winech se mi nechytl ani wifi adaptér >:(

Spoznáš podla výpisu nejakej aplíkácie. Vo win stačí kliknúť pravou na tento počítač a dať vlastnosti a tam je niekde HW, poprípade aplikácia typu everest alebo AIDA (http://www.aida64.com/downloads). A potom si už vyhladáš dačo o tom.
