Zdravím a prosím o radu jak zprovoznit tv kartu pod kubuntu 12.10
Jedná se o kartu pinnacle dazzle hybrid stick 320e
Hledal jsem už nějaké návody ale nic moc co by mi pomohlo nebo co bych pochopil
Pokud možno tak bych prosil návod kterej by pochopilo i tří letý dítě.

Nainstaluj si Kaffeine a ovladače.
sudo apt-get install -y caffeine linux-firmware-nonfreeZkus a napiš.

Tak jsem to zkusil a mam nainstalovaný to caffeine
ty ovladače se stáhli už s tim nebo je musim stáhnout zvlášť ? pokud jo tak odkud a jak ?
Jsem v tomhle začátečník tak se předem omlouvam za možná hloupé dotazy ale taky bych ocenil trpělivost a pochopení

Pokud tuner neuvidíš, nefunguje něco správně a budem to řešit dál. Ovladače už se nainstalovaly. Patrně by se ti měly objevit i v programu Dodatečné ovladače jako již aktivní.

To caffeine mi běží na liště. Má to nějaký nastavení nebo něco kde můžu vidět tu TV kartu ? našel jsem akorát a tam se dá přidat akorát nějaký proces či co.
A v nastavení nemam možnost televize. myslím tim v nastavení systému.

Je to moc dlouhý... musel jsem to ručně opravit.

Problém je v tuneru karty. Ten výpis výše z lsusb můžeš smazat. Obráz situace jsem si udělal a jinak tam nic užitečného není, neb není celý :D

Jj neva.
Vypadá to, že minimálně se starším Ubuntu by to jelo. Třeba časem najdem patch pro novější jádro. S někým zkus nebo zítra zkusíme Ubuntu 13.04 s jádrem 3.8.

Co jsem četl diskuze, tak vývoj opět ožil a tak bych zkusil novější jádro 3.8.

Návod je však platný do 12.04. Od 12.10+ musíš instalovat navíc i balík linux-image-extra.

Tak jsem se pustil do aktualizce jádra podle toho návodu ale já blbec jsem zapoměl na linux-image-extra
takže jsem si pohnojil notes a nejde mi na něm wifi a myš
dá se nějak obnovit systém do stavu před aktualizací ?
S kubuntu jsem dost začátečník

povedlo se mi doinstalovat ten posledni balík a funguje myš a BT ale kdyz chci zapnout nesvobodnej ovladac tak mi to hlasi error a abych se podival do log file a tam to hlasi ze ovladac chybí

A jakou máš grafickou kartu a ovladač?
Jde o to, že Ti postupy jsou staré a asi nebudou fungovat bez patchování. Takže bych radši šel cestou novějšího jádra s rozchozenou grafikou.

Grafická karta je to NVIDIA GeForce GT630M 2GB Ovladač nevim jakej je ted aktuálně ale v aditional drivers jsou ještě asi 3 nebo víc dalších který se dají aktivovat akorát nevim na co to může mít vliv.
Aktualizaci kernelu už jsem zkoušel ale buď jsem něco udělal špatně nebo tam nejde wifi. Ovladač na wifi se po instalaci systemu musí dodatečně aktiovat právě v aditional drivers.
Když jsem aktualizoval jádro tak mi to sice ukázalo možnost aktivace ale pak to hodilo error a že ovladač neni dostupnej. Nejdřív si musim najít něco jak zálohovat system protože ho nechci zase reinstalovat. Dala by se v tomhle případě použít záloha pomocí obrazu disku ?

nezkoušel jsem takže nevim. Ale dřív na starým notesu kde jsem měl kubuntu 12.04 mi to nešlo ale šla wifi bez problémů

Kontroloval jsi to uname -r jestli skutečně jedeš v novém jádře?
A co jsi se pokoušel aktivovat za nesvobodný ovladač?

Zkusil bych spustit Live CD Kubuntu 13.04 a tam nainstalovat Kaffeine a otestovat tuner.

zkouseno s 13.04 a nejak se nedari rozject :) nevim jestli nekdo nekam nepokrocil dal...

V kaffeine se hlásí jako
Zkoušel jsem i Digital Televison viewer a taky nic nenašel ale taky hlásil připojenej tuner jako Zarlink ZL 10353 DVB-T
Co s tim ???
