Dobrý den, třetí den po instalaci Kubuntu 13.04 se mi externí HDD přihlašuje až po cca 5 min. a později.
Notebook je Lenovo G500, je to trochu exot ale vše chodi jinak dobře.
HDD se hlásí jako ADATA HV610 a ma 500GB
První výpis je pokud neni viditelný

Včera jsem zapoměl napsat, disk je vidět v Biosu a ve win7 funguje bez potíží.
Tady http://forum.ubuntu.cz/index.php?topic=65815.msg468846#msg468846 (http://forum.ubuntu.cz/index.php?topic=65815.msg468846#msg468846) se řešilo něco podobného ale bohužel bez výsledku. Pro jistotu jsem vše z usb vyndal a je připojený jen HDD a tak to snad jiný HDD nezpůsobuje.
Když se po těch 5ti minutách disk objeví tak potom funguje bez potíží.
Nevím jestli ten čas je nějak důležitý, třikrát jsem to změřil a s rozdílem 4 vteřin je to 6 minut, tak se asi dá říct že to trvá vždy stejnou dobu.
Vím že se s tim žít dá, klidně počkám 6 minut ale je to divná porucha

Ještě jsem ho už viditelný odpojil a připojil a zase těch cca šest minut a znova se objeví. Díky

HDD je prázdný a zformátovaný
Kubuntu 13.04 jsem smazal a znova nainstaloval
Stejně to nejde i když jsem ten notebook před tydnem koupil tak to asi dva dny chodilo
Na windows na tom samém ntb se hdd přihlasí a na jiném notebooku s K 13.04 taky
Myslel jsem že to shodila možná nějaká aktualizace ale teď mám system čerstvě nainstalovaný
tak už nevím

Náhodne som narazil na rovnaký problém, ktorý je v štádiu riešenia na "ubuntuusers.de". http://forum.ubuntuusers.de/topic/externe-usb-festplatte-wird-sehr-spaet-erkannt/ (http://forum.ubuntuusers.de/topic/externe-usb-festplatte-wird-sehr-spaet-erkannt/). Tiež sa tu uvádza, že externý HDD sa v 13.04 veľmi dlho načítava - 5 min. Zároveň sa tam uvádza, že tento problém nastal pri inštalácii 13.04, že v 12.04 tento problém nebol. Vyskúšaj si stiahnuť 12.04, nabootuj Live CD a zapoj aj ten externý HDD, či sa niečo zmení.
Alebo zatiaľ sleduj toto vlákno, či sa to vyrieši. Zatiaľ sú tam uvedené výpisy z príkazu
udisks --enumerate

díky,už jsem se bal že to nebude mít řešení
Já už to chtěl zkusit z nějakého live CD ale ntb Lenovo je proti,jak to nainstalovat už mi tady poradili ale na live to nefunguje. Jak dám vyzkoušet Kubuntu /zkoušel jsem i Ubuntu, Fedoru, / tak zbělá obrazovka a tím to skončí. Vyzkoušel jsem všechny možnosti co tam jsou a bez úspěchu

Kdyby ses chtěl dovědět o tom disku více, zkus
udisks --monitorpři připojení a odpojení ale obávám se, že tvůj problém z toho nevyčteš.
V syslogu také nic není?

chyba popisovače při čtení metadat na disku, k tomu je dobré použít chkdsk (kontrola disku) ve Windows pokud to neumí přímo fsck v linuxu?

to není chyba filesystému
to je chyba při snaze o komunikaci se zařízením připojeným k USB, kdy se nedaří získat informace o zařízení jako takovém...
je-li možno, zkuste jiný kabel...

disk jsem pro jistotu zkontroloval-bez chyb-nejde to
kabel byl to první co jsem zkoušel, potíž je v tom že na straně HDD neni USB ale jina koncovka, podivám se jestli se to samostatně prodává.
Jen je mi divný že to nevadí Win na tom samym ntb a ani Kubuntu na mym předešlym ntb. Prostě že by ten kabel vadil zrovna a jen v téhle konstelaci, ale možný to je

MTP (multimedia transfer protocol) nespravuje to nějaký ovladač zvlášť v jádře, a který zatím není ideální?
Já mám teda taky externí usb (zaměřený na stream multimidii přes wifi) ale jako mtp se mi nehlásí, takže asi bude používat jiný ovladač.

Říkal jsem, z toho se problém nedovíš, ale dá to pěkné info. Mě to třeba ukázalo i verzi firmware který už jsem pro svůj disk aktualizoval.
V Linuxu je takové obecné pravidlo. Když nefunguje hw, zkus aktualizovat obraz jádra "linux-image-verze-architektura", starší tam můžeš klidně vrátit dokud je v repozitářích.

mám stejný problém je to fleška 4GB FAT32
na vedlejším pc najela hned ale na ubuntu 13.04 mě nezačne hned ani svítit a po chvíli zůstane svítit ale nikde se neobjeví

Aký je vlastne postup pre aktualizáciu jadra? Je mi jasné, že si treba najprv zistiť aktuálne jadro. ano bylo byšleno, jen instalování novějšího obrazu, tj. linux-image, nikoliv kompilace. Ta přichází až když chci něco odebrat nebo naopak přidat.
