Při přechodu mi Ubuntu hlásí chybu:
An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade.
This can be caused by:

Pokud se nic z toho nezdaří, nahlaste prosím chybu pomocí příkazu 'ubuntu-bug ubuntu-release-upgrader-core'.

Mám nedávno aktualizované jádro Linux 3.5.0-54-generic. Nemůže být problém s tím, že je vyšší, než běžně ve verzi 12.04?
Poraďte prosím, jak můžu systém povýšit.

Problém dělají většinou systémové balíky z externích repozitářů. Je potřeba ty zásadní odebrat a nechat vrátit původní verze balíků pomocí příkazu ppa-purge.
Jen pro příklad:
ppa-purge ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3

Pokud jsi přímo needitoval /etc/apt/sources.list, tak by mohlo stačit, když nám ukážeš výstup z:

tento odeber radsi taky

Odeber všechny PPA zdroje a nechej jen původní.
Pomocí sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list přepiš zdroje z "precise" na "trusty"
Potom
sudo apt-get updatesudo apt-get upgradesudo apt-get autoremovesudo apt-get cleanJakmile vše proběhne korektně, pro jistotu ty čtyři příkazy zopakuj.
Až potom začni přidávat příslušné PPA zdroje pro verzi Trusty!

Stále se ani po uvedených radách nedaří. Přechod na 14.04 končí stejnou hláškou. :-(

Však jsem hned v úvodu napsal, že máš přepsat sources.list z "precise" na "trusty" ;) proto to bude stále házet chybu!

Tak to jsme se asi nepochopili, původně tam byl kód, který odkazoval na jiné soubory, teď už odkazuje skutečně na sources.list.
Mám tedy všechna slova "precise" u zdrojů přepsat na "trusty"?

Stále nefunguje.
Když zapnu správce aktualizací, začala se mi teď zobrazovat hláška:
Nelze vypočítat přechod na vyšší verzi
Během propočítávání aktualizace nastal neřešitelný problém.
Nahlaste prosím tuto chybu vůči balíčku "update-manager" a přiložte následující chybovou zprávu:
'E:Chyba, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve vytváří poruchy, to může být způsobeno podrženými balíky.'
oproti předchozímu stavu mi to nabízí 2398 aktualizací a přechod na 14.04.1, který ale nefunguje. Mám instalovat ty aktualizace?

Pokud se nepletu ještě
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade pro povýšení balíků, které vyžadují nějaké další závislosti.

Zdravím po dlouhé době mám problém s Linuxem. Při povýšení Kubuntu z 12.05 na 14.05 kdy aktualizace proběhla podle všeho v pořádku se ale nemůžu přihlásit. po zadání Hesla mi to Vyhodí toto:
COULD NOT START D- BUS
CAN YOU CALL qdbus?
netuším co s tím? děkuju ;)

Děkuji za rady, během aktualizace se mi přehřál zdroj k notebooku a vybila se baterie. Aktualizaci jsem sice dokončil, mám ale problémy s grafickým rozhraním. Přihlašovací obrazovka ještě nabehne, ale v dost mizernem rozlišení. Po přihlášení uživatele do gnome i do unity vsak nefunguje nic krom pohybování kurzoru myši a klávesové zkratky CTRL+ALT+F1. Jinak vidím prazdnou obrazovku s výchozím pozadím.
Zkoušel jsem reinstallaci výchozího ovladače grafické karty, ale beze změny. Problémy s ovladačem jsem měl už v minulosti, ale vždycky se to projevilo jenom nefunkční HW akceleraci.
Poradite prosím jak zprovoznit grafické rozhraní alespoň bez HW akcelerace?

Po prvním spuštění se mi objevila v mizernem rozlišení hláska o tom, ze systém běží v low-graphics mode. Mel jsem k dispozici možnosti:
Run in low-graphics mode for just one session
Reconfigure graphics
Troubleshoot the error
Exit to console login
At se snažím jakkoliv, vždycky to konci vytvořením zálohy xorg.conf a následně jeho smazanim. Pokud ho obnovim ze zálohy, proces se opakuje a je opět smazán.
Poradite prosím jak to vyřešit?

Vytvořil jsem bootovaci flashku s Ubuntu 14.04.1 a z té mi systém funguje v pohodě. Je možné nějak upravit systém na disku, aby také fungoval? Rad bych se vyhnul reinstalaci celého systému.

Tak jsem své snažení vzdal.
Formát disku a instalace win7 + Ubuntu 14.04.1. Vše funguje perfektně.
