Název: Externí disk nefunguje přes USB 3.0

Ahoj,
chtěl bych poprosit o pomoc s připojením externího disku přes USB 3.0.

Mám disk Samsung M3 Portable 1TB a když ho připojím do portu USB 2.0, vše funguje jak má, když ho připojím do portu USB 3.0, tak se "nechytne" - neobjeví se v Nautilu, neobjeví se v "/media" ani v "/dev". Pouze z kern.logu jsem vyčetl, že ho systém nějak zaznamenal. Rovněž jsem zkusil příkaz dmesg, jehož výsledek přikládám. Jsou tam asi vidět nějaké chyby, ale tomu už nerozumím.
Jinak USB 3.0 porty jsou snad v pořádku, což vyvozuji z toho, že obyčejná flashka v nich funguje bez problémů.
Rovněž jsem disk zkoušel na jiném počítači s Win8 přes USB 3.0, a funguje bez problému.
Taky jsem zkoušel připojit doma jiný externí disk (Transcend), a výsledek stejný, nepomohl ani zdvojený USB kabel.
Systém je 12.04, aktualizace pouštím pravidelně.
Udělal jsem i aktualizaci BIOSu a zkoušel nějaká nastavení ohledně USB portů, nic nepomáhá.

Já bych to viděl na nedostatečné napětí v tom USB3 portu, i když zdvojený kabel by měl v tomto případě pomoci kdy nejdříve zapojit napájecí do USB2 a až potom datový do USB3, ale i tak to není jistota že to bude fungovat. Potom je možnost externě napájený USB hub viz...

Taky u některých externích disků je možnost připojit přímo adaptér viz foto... potom k němu stačí koupit dostatečně silný adaptér kdy 5V 2A musí stačit.

Ještě existuje možnost měnit napětí u některých počítačů ale to je složitější a od jádra 2,6 to je asi vše úplně jinak.

Pro me pod ubuntu USB3 proste normalne nefunguje http://forum.ubuntu.cz/index.php?topic=71793.msg518885#msg518885 , jedine, skuz si dat s tim pripojenym diskem restart, obcas se mi to podarilo takhle primet k slusne cinost a logy byly bez "xHCI xhci_drop_endpoint called with disabled ep".

Díky moc za odpovědi, tak teď jsem vlastně rád, že to funguje aspoň přes tu USB 2.0  ;)
Dvojitý drát opravdu nepomohl a ty další varianty nemám jak vyzkoušet a ani mi to nepřijde moc nadějné.
Myslím si správně, že většině lidí externí disky přes USB 3.0 fungujou normálně?
Možná je to dáno základní deskou, je to ASUS P8H67. V manuálu píšou u USB 3.0 portu, že je podporován jen ve Windowsech, tak teď tomu už i věřím  ;)

zapoj disk do usb3 počkej chvíli (i delší) a pak nám sem dej výstup z

Já používám svůj externí disk 2,5" na USB3 každý den, a vzhledem k tomu že ho používám na zálohování dat přes live usb Ubuntu tak to mám otestováno na desítkách počítačů a všude mi to doposavad fungovalo. Jen jsem jednomu zákazníkovy řešil že mu to nefungovalo na jednom tabletonotebooku kde se musel připojit externí zdroj aby to utáhlo.

Legacy USB Support [Enabled]
Legacy USB3.0 Support [Enabled]
EHCI Hand-off [Disabled]  (píšou, že zapíná podporu pro OS bez funkce EHCI hand-off, zkoušel jsem změnit, nepomohlo)
Asmedia USB 3.0 Controller [Enabled]

podle lsusb ten disk vidí ale je tam divná hodnota max power = 2mA (myš žere víc)
napadá mě jestli není poškozený kabel (pro usb3 jsou tam další piny)
a) zkus ten disk s tím kabelem na jiném pc s usb3
b) zkus tento disk s jiným kabelem na stejném pc

Obojí jsem zkoušel, disk i s mým kabelem na noťasu s Win8 chodilo na usb3 v pohodě.
Disk ani se zapůjčeným zdvojeným kabelem na domácím Ubuntu nic.
Ještě jsem možná nenapsal, že ten disk se normálně roztočí a kontrolka svítí, a na to by myslím 2mA nestačily

XHCI problem se kablikama nevyresi, problem je v jadru https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1271268 (nebo jine), jedina moznost pouzivat USB2, ale me jaksik ctecka de strcit jen do interniho USB3 a tak mam za 500 jen ozdobu, tak dokat to se to nevyresi, aby nezlobil system, ji musim mit vypojenou.
