Nazdar hoši....Prosím o pomoc....Mám ubuntu 8.04 a nejde mi wifina??Mužete pomoct?? ??? :-[

aha... v noci jsem mel sen a v nem se mi zdalo, ze kdyz ten pocitac nechas pres noc na balkone, tak rano pojede...
a nebo muzeme zkusit najit jiny reseni, kdyz budes te dobroty a prozradis nam, jakou ze tu wifinu vlastne mas :)

V Terminálu zadejte cestu do složky Madwifi a spusťte patche:

mi vůbec nereaguje???

Tak ted jsem to udelal podle návodu....Vše proběhlo vpořádku a pořad nefunguje...
Ale čeho jsem si všim že když chci zapnout wifi pomoci kláves (Fn+F2) tak se mi na notasu nesvítí wifi??

Tak jsem měl stejný problém, který jsem ovšem stále nevyřešil. Ve verzi 7.10 (GG) mi fungoval tenhle postup

Fkt je, že jsem neměl možnost vyzkoušet ovladač verze madwifi-ng-r2756-20071018, nýbrž pouze s madwifi-ng-r2756+ar5007 se kterým mi to v HH nešlo. Zkus to a dej vědět jak si dopadl.

Po zakázání ovladačů původních v "Hardware Drivers Manager" jsem stáhl ovladače, opatchoval a zkompiloval. Toť vše.

Tak jsem opět nainstaloval poslední verzi Ubuntu 8.04 (HH), vyzkoušel tvůj opatchovaný ovladač a mám následující problémy:

Zajímavé... mě to dělá taky :o ;
"$ sudo iwlist ath0 scan" vrátí "ath0 Interface doesn't support scanning : Network is down" -> síťovka je nějak deaktivovaná
Nicméně se stále můžu připojit přes wpa_supplicant... (Dokud běží wpa_supplicant, $ iwlist ath0 scan i $ sudo iwlist ath0 scan fungují normálně; po vypnutí wpa_supplicantu $ sudo iwlist ath0 scan háže chybu a $ iwlist ath0 scan vrací poslední hodnotu...)
??? Zkusím to nějak pořešit...

Tak po následném restartu se mi wpa_supplicant už nepřipojí do mé sítě :(. Já už tomu přestávám rozumět, protože teď se mi neukáže v dosahu žádná dostupná síť, předtím jsem viděl všechny. Pokaždé to je jinak.

Zdravím. Stejná wi-fi, stejné potíže. Notebook ASUS F3L. Chystám se na přechod z Gentoo na Ubuntu, protože ta druhá distribuce lépe odpovídá mým dovednostem v oblasti linuxu ;) Vidina nefungující wi-fi mě sice trochu odrazuje, nicméně ani pod Gentoo jsem to nerozběhal. Pokud máte zájem, tak až to přeinstaluju, hodím sem taky výpisy.

S tou wifinou jsou občas problémy, ale není to složité ji rozchodit, v podstatě jde jen o to, použít správnou verzi madwifi.

A je ten modul vůbec načtený? (viz $ lsmod|grep ath)
Pokud načtený není, tak ten krok přeskoč

dobry den :-) zase po delsim case jsem sebral dost odvahy a nervu abych se pustil do me wifi :-) ridil jsem se radami pana yontancalara, lec po jeho prikazu se nic nevypsalo a vubec.. nic :-) .. kroky jsem tedy preskocil.. zbesile delal hazel do terminalu kazdy prikaz kterej mi kdo poradil.. ale jsem tam kde na zacatku - mezi ovladaci HW mam i wifi, kterej kdyz aktivuji, tak se mi u ikonky sit zobrazi moznost wifi siti, ale nikdy to zadnou nenajde (ani tam kde by vazne melo).. muj ntb ma hw vypnuti all sitovejch prvku na jednom tlacitku - to je ale povolene.. kdyz restartuju pc.. tak se mi ovladac zase deaktivuje sam - je to vazne tvrdohlavej kousek (ale ani kdyz se mi drive nevypinal zase sam od sebe, tak mi to site zadne nenachazelo ani po restartu...)
pekelny problem - to Vam povim :-)
