Na BackTrack 4 (vycházející z verze 9.10) jsem neměl problém s fake-raid. Přes dmraid se pole detekovaly. Na poslední verzi 10.4 mi to hází akorát chybu:

Netušíte někdo co s tím?
P.S. A ve Virtual PC (Win7) nejde nainstalovat vůbec žádná verze 10.4.

Tyto chyby se v Googlu vyskytují ohledně šifrování.

Mám podobný problém. V 9.10 bez problémů. V 10.04 musím spustit dmraid -ay dvakrát po sobě aby se disky objevily. Jenže jak to mám udělat při bootu? Před načtením jádra.

Dobrej bug. Je divné, že to u tebe funguje až po dvojím spuštění dmraid -ay. Možná, že to jenom trvá tomu prvnímu příkazu déle, než to nahodí.

Možná ti to dělá to samé. První spuštění proběhne při startu systému. Když spustíš jádro s parametrem nodmraid. Pak musíš ten příkaz zadat dvakrát. Poprve se objevý disk spojený u mě 640 Gb. Po druhém spuštění jednotlivé oddíly. Asi to dělá hodně lidem https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/568050.
Ale i když disky najedou, stejně neprovedu instalaci nového systému. Parted 2.2 vyhazuje chybu. Když jsem zkompiloval do livecd verzi 2.1 ta fungovala. Takže hned dva bugy.

Mě nepomáhá ani start s přepínačem "nodmraid" a 2x spuštění z desktopu. Také jsem zkusil upgrade balíčků a distra, odstranění a znova zavedení modulu dm-raid45.ko, bezvýsledné.

Tak ani v 10.4.1 to neopravili.
Stále verze dmraid 1.0.0.rc16-3ubuntu2.
