Madwifi a ubuntu 6.10

Ahoj, mam nainstalovano Ubuntu 6.10 s distribučním kernelem 2.6.17-11-generic. Potřebuju rozchodit  jednu kartu s chipem ath0. Usoudil jsem, že když kartu vložím anatahnou se mi moduly a vidím ji, že mám asi patchovaný distribuční kernel a není třeba madwifi. Karta nejde připojit a když napišu iwlist ath0 scanning tak se dozvím, že ath0      Interface doesn't support scanning : Invalid argument. Stejne tak karta nefunguje v Kismetu a to ani pokud ji manualně a v konfiguraku kismetu  mam  source=madwifi_ab,ath0,madwifi. Poradite mi nekdo, jak to rozchodit.

Madwifi je v jadre, driver ath_pci.  Viac ti neporadím, ale scannovat mi ide. Je to nejaký TP-Link WL 550g. Nič som neinštaloval ani nenastavoval, len IPčky a pod.

Me uz taky. Ted mam problem s kismetem. v konfiguraci mam uvedeno source=madwifi_ab,ath0,madwifi. Když se pokusim pustit kismet dostanu toto

Když zkusim v konfiguraci zmenit source na wifi0, takze tam je source=madwifi_ab,wifi0,madwifi, tak mi to vrátí

Take bych ocenil radu, kde najdu repository pro ubuntu s verzí kismetu 2007..., nebo alespoň deb balík co nejnovejsi verze, ktera podporuje ipd3945

to funguje diky, ale jak to mám nahodit při bootu? V /etc/network/interfaces mám mimo jine toto

co by tam mělo být, abych to měl nahozeno při bootu.
