Rtorrent - nefunkční obnovení torrentů

Zdravím ... v zásadě mám 2 problémy:
1) torrent, který byl začnutý a měl stažené nějaká data nenačte své data a po každém spuštění se stahuje odznova (zvlášť u ISO o velikosti kolem 3 GB dcl nepříjemné)
2) když tracker odpoví nějakou chybou nebo něčím, co rtorrent nerozpozná, nenamáhá se to zkusit znova, prostě torrent vypně, nešlo by nastavit zkoušení dejme tomu co 5s ?

verze 0.8.2/0.12.2
na Ubuntu Server 9.04, bez grafického rozhraní

Jestli někdo víte, co s tím, moc prosím o pomoc
A jestli bude někdo vědět o jakékoliv alternativě, která by byla lepší, prosím, ať taky poradí - ale opravdu jen do příkazové řádky, GUI se mi na tom fakt chodit nechce
