Nespouští se CUPS po provedené aktualizaci 9.10

Zdravím,
po poslední provedené aktualizaci Karmic Koala se přestal spouštět CUPS a zmizel i z programů spuštěných po startu.
Při pokusu o spuštění z terminálu píše chybu

cupsd
cupsd: Child exited on signal 15! cups: unable to start scheduler.

lze jej však spustit z terminálu s právy root

sudo cupsd

Co udělat aby se opět startovat automaticky?

Co přesně znamená

Sorry, to byla mystifikace. Domníval jsem se, že pokud CUPS běží, tak je vidět v Systém>Volby>Aplikace spouštěné při prohlášení. Po nabootování do 9.04, jsem zjistil, že to tomu tak není.
