WiFi - Ubuntu vs. Windows

Zdravím,
nainštaloval som si na nový notebook (Toshiba Satellite L650-1K6) Ubuntu 10.10 a mám problém s WiFi. Ak je WiFi karta na Windowse zapnutá, tak vidím siete aj na Ubuntu. Ak kartu vo Windowse vypnem, tak ani na Ubuntu nevidím siete, no neviem sa akosi dopracovať k tomu, aby som WiFi kartu mohol zapať aj na Ubuntu. Ovládač mám nainštalovaný slobodný (Systém > Správa > Dodatočné ovládače). Klávesová skratka pre zapnutie WiFi nefunguje. Ide o kartu Broadcom BCM4313.

Chcel by som, aby som mohol WiFi ľubovoľne zapínať a vypínať aj na Ubuntu (ako na Windowse). Ďakujem za všetky rady (a dúfam, že už sa tu podobná téma nenájde a ak hej, dúfam, že neotravujem  )

Stejné téma se tu určitě najde (a myslím že ne jednou), nevím jestli se vyřešilo. Něco mi říká že by mohlo pomoci prohledat příspěvky které obsahují rfkill.

Ono to chce dvě věci, nejdřív zkus odchytit jaký signál ta klávesová zkratka pro zapnutí Wi-fi vysílá do systému, to obvykle nejdeš v tématech jak rozchodit DO k tunerům a pak bych zkusil prostě nahodit síť příkazem z terminálu, jestli to zabere. Příkaz je

ifconfig název připojení (asi eth0 nebo tak něco) up tady he heště vlákno které by ti mohlo pomoct http://www.abclinuxu.cz/poradna/linux/show/131603

Zatím bych se zaměřil na to jak to připojení nahodit když nejde, tedy zapnout tu kartu, pak na to jak k tomu přidělit požadovanou klávesovou zkratku

Ak by som mal WiFi zapínať len prikázom, to by mi ani tak nevadilo. Najprv chcem vyriešiť celkové zapnutie/vypnutie na Ubuntu.
To Martin: Hľadal som niečo s rfkill, našiel som najmä rfkill list, no tam sa mi WiFi vôbec nezobrazí (je tam len bluetooth)

Zkus postupovat podle tohoto návodu http://standa.pikula.cz/network-management-disabled ale ke to pro tebe relevantní jedině za předpokladu, že ti to vydá hlášku "State: disabled". Každopádně teď víme, že systém kartu vidí i po vypnutí, takže to chce jen přijít na to jak ji aktivovat.

Tak možná jsem na to přišel, všechno je to nutné dávat se sudo, postupně takto

A čo niečo ako jupiter?

Tak nakoniec som to vyriešil nainštalovaním 11.04, ktoré mi predtým nešlo, no malo to spojitosť s týmto WiFi problémom. Pokiaľ nebola zapnutá WiFi, verzia 11.04 sa nedokázala načítať (inštalácia alebo už nainštalované). Aj keď neviem, niečo sa mi na tejto verzii nepozdáva, tak uvidíme či to nevrátim spať a tým pádom bude spať aj problém

To sabraq: Pozriem si to, ak bude treba, inak fnfxd som nainštaloval, no niečo mu chýbalo (nešiel spustiť).

Vypadá to tak, že problém znova nevyriešený Zistil som, že ak je WiFi na Windowse zapnutá, vypnem ju na Ubuntu a znova zapnem, tak siete znova nevidí, musím sa odhlásiť a znova prihlásiť a vtedy znova siete vidí Už mi dochádzajú sily pomaly
