problem s xorg.conf [vyřešeno]

Mam mesni problem mam chybu resp. sem se sekl a udelal sem chybu  jiz zmienym souboru a nenastartuje mi do graf. rozhrani ubuntu akorat do recovery mode ale nevim co dal

sudo nano /etc/X11/xorg.confTohle vám otevře xorg.conf v programu nano (textový editor), pokud s ním neumíte, doporučuji si napřed přečíst návod (man nano).

No moc nechápu dotaz, ale jestli máte namysli, že pokud jste přihlášen jako root (což v Recovery mode jste, na to jsem zapomněl), tak nemáte zadávat "sudo", tak ano, pokud jste root, tak je sudo zbytečné.

ok dik zkusim to, mam MSI Geforce MX 440 64MB AGP Vivo ale nevim jak donutit aby mi to dalo rozliseni 1280x1204 na MSI sem driver nenasel jen na nvidia a s tou instalaci se taky peru

mám na nu driver nvidia. Našo mi ju automaticky pri bootovaní liveCD, odvtedy som sa v tom nehrabal, a funguje mi aj rozlíšenie 1280x1024 (ty tam máš 1280x1204 tak neviem či si myslel to isté)

čo zaváňa nvidiou tak to mám nainštalované len nvidia-glx a nvidia-kernel-common

no ja to tam zkousel pridat i rucne ale pak to spadlo tak nevim, pri instalaci z Live CD ani nevim ze by to nabizelo nejaky rozliseni, nechapu me to povoli 1024x1028 coz je na 19" TF celkem hnus jinak grafika je podle detekce stejna

a skontroluj v Systém - Predvoľby - Rozlíšenie obrazovky. Mohlo by to tak ísť a vždy máš možnosť vrátiť to späť ak by čosi nešlapalo.

to se tak vcera vecer zkousel ale asi sem te editoval spatne jelioz to  pak uz nenastartovalo

a jakym prikazem to zeditovat? sudo nano ..? a po ulozeni jestli se to objevi hned nevis?

ak si už v grafickom prostredí tak cez

sudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf

a zmeny sa ti prejavia pre reštarte Gnome - Ctrl+Alt+Backspase

pokial sa do grafického prostredia nedostaneš tak v konzole

sudo nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf     ukladáš s Ctrl+o Enter

a grafiku s novými nastaveniami spustíš príkazom "startx"

tak co se koukam primo do sveho xorg.conf tak to nenadetekovalo monitor
mam Fujitsu Siemens P-19 1280x1024 napojeno pres DVI

Hura.. povedlo se misto generic sem napsal P19-2 a rozliseni sem upravil a jede to supr.... dik moc za help

Mám problém s xorg.conf . Nainstaloval jsem Ubuntu Edgy Eft a snažíl se změnit rozlišení v xorg.conf . Nepovedlo se. Pořád mám to původní rozlišení od instalace. Používám notebook Umax Vision Book 1500 WXC širokoúhlý display 15,4 Ještě jedna věc, nevím jak zjistit frekvenci displaye, u výrobce jsem nic nenašel a na email mi neodpověděli. je na to nějaký fígl jak to zjistit?
