Zdravim,
uz asi tyden se snazim nainstalovat na svuj notebook samsung rv520 s konfiguraci: i3-2310, 8GB ram, 640GB hdd, nvidia gt520 linuxove distribuce ubuntu a kubuntu.
puvodne byl na ntb nainstalovany windows 7, chtel jsem dualboot, tudiz jsem zvolil automatickou instalaci ubuntu 11.10 along win7, skoro se podarilo, akorat bylo potreba doinstalovat grub. kazdopadne system pak bootoval bez problemu, v grub menu byl jak win 7, tak ubuntu.
Pote jsem se ale zhrozil pri pouzivani unity - vypadalo to jako spatny vtip. Napr. jsem nainstaloval codeblocks a pretahl jej z dashe do lanucheru - vznikl tam prazdny prostor jako spoustec bez ikony. Dale jsem nebyl schopny najit v empathy menu, nejak tam proste chybelo, nevim, jestli to byl nepovodeny joke nebo zamer, aby nebylo mozne v empathy cokoliv menit - nastesti jsem si vygooglil, ze alternativa "edit->account" je F4 a byl jsem schopny tam aspon addnout nejaky account i kdyz se tech par online lidi tezko hledalo pres tech nekolik stovek offline.
Takze jsem se rozhodl pro "KDE verzi kubuntu" a v tom to zacalo. Instalace padala se zpravou "The grub-efi package failed....". Tak jsem si zjistil, ze v ubuntu u loginu lze zvolit po instalaci kubuntu-destkop, takze jsem tam chtel nainstalovat zpet ubuntu - bohuzel pri bootu zacalo to, ceho jsem se do dneska nezbavil - zrejme pri nacitani grub menu to spadlo a ja videl jen kurzor a pak se okamzite notebook restartoval a tak to delalo porad co dve sekundy.
Dalsi rada nekde z prostredi mac znela, ze musim vytvorit novy partition table jako msdos. to jsem udelal a hold se smiril, ze dualboot s win7 nebude (samozrejme data jsem stihl zalohovat). Pote se zazracne instalace kubuntu podarila. Ale problem s bootovanim tim vyresen nebyl.
Po celodenni reseni tohoto problemu s vyvojari grubu na irc serveru freenode.irc a channelu #grub jsem dospel k nazoru, ze to proste nema cenu a chtel bych tedy situaci resit instalaci podobne user friendly os jako je ubuntu/kubuntu.
Mohli by jste mi teda nejake doporucit nebo mi aspon sdelit nejakou klicovou informaci, ktera by mi tu stupidni instalaci na pet kliknuti pomohla dokoncit uspesne i s uspesnym nabootovanim?
Data mam zalohovana a trpelivost mi dochazi. Milion lidi to se mnou resilo hlavne na hlavnim #ubuntu channelu, takze nejaka blbost to urcite nebude.

Budu nesmirne rad, za kazdou informaci, ktera zapricini to, ze co nejdriv budu moci sedet u fungujici distribuce, na ktere budu moci bezproblemu vyvijet (to defacto na kazde), bude dostatecne user friendly - spousta veci tam pujde odklikat a nebudu muset resit rucni instalaci nvidia grafiky, zavadeneni nvidia kernelu apod. a na ktere si budu moci zahrat pres steam bez problemu nenarocnou hru counter-strike 1.6 - nic vic nechci, snad toho nechci moc....
