dva monitory na pc [vyřešeno]

ahoj. mam ubuntu 6.10 amd64. mam ho tak 10dní. potřeboval bych poradit jak nastavit abych mel v pc dva monitory, abych molh miší přejížět z jedné obrazovky na druou. momentalne vidim na obou to same. mam dva monitory jeden lcd ten je přes redukci zapojený do VGA, a druhý Starý CRT ten je přes redukci na DVI.

kdybys to nechápal (ty návody), tak se konkrétněji zeptej...

prosimtě ja sem to skoušel podle těchto navodu, ale vubec sa me to nepodarilo spíš sem enom 20 obnovoval soubor xorx.config, protože me už graficke prostředi vubec nenajelo, mohly by ste me prosim napsat neco, skusitnapsat co zadat do terminalu, a jak mam přepsat soubor xorg,conf? je me to blbe, ale asi to sam nedokažu. diky.

Ahoj. Jako druhy monitor pouzivam TV (na filmy), ale predpokladam, ze pro dalsi CRT, ci LCD by mel byt postup stejny. Takze je potreba editovat xorg.conf, zde je podstatna cast toho meho:

Jeden z nejpodstatnejsich radku je Screen 1  "screen1" RightOf "screen0", kde se nastavuje, ze screen1 je "vpravo" od screen0

tak už sem to rozchodil. mnohokere diky. jestli to nekoho zajima, tak sem si soubor xorg.conf přepsal takto a slape me to. su s tim spokojený. diky vám všem co ste me poradily.

dik za hore uvedene navody, ked si to tak clovek vsetko clovek pozliepa - myslim vsetky vase konfiguracie, linky na dalsie clanky a pod. , tak sa aj k niecomu dopracuje

- na tejto poslednej linke su aj pekne popisane vsetky tie "rezimy" v akych to dokaze pracovat (Xinerama/TwinView/Merged Framebuffer/BigDesktop)

inak teda mam to rozbane na ATI Radeone (jeden vystup CRD , druhy DVI) v Xinerama rezime fungujem a som aj schopny presuvat okna medzi monitormi, cize mam jeden velky desktop. doteraz som fungoval v nejakom asi by som to nazval NON-TWINVIEW rezime, alebo ako sa to vola, teda dva monitory a dva zvlast desktopy na kazdom ze som nemohol presuvat okna medzi obrazovkami.

a v podstate podla tohto navodu pre ATI som ja postupoval. inak by som povedal ze to je podobne ale asi jednoduchsie oproti tomu poslednemu konfiguraku co tu ZERG vlozil ako posledne.

zatial som nenasiel ziadne rozumne vysvetlenie k tomu (podotykam ze som viac menej zaciatocnik na linuxoch) , takze by ma zaujimalo ci sa tu s tym niekto uz nestretol, resp. nevie poradit ze co mu vadi?

Ahoj. Dik za tip, funguje to i s TV OUT. Tu chybu, co pises mi to vyhazuje taky, ale rozliseni nemenim, takze to zas tak nevadi.
Jeste mi to dela jednu vec, na televizi se mi misto kurzoru mysi zobrazuje takovej nesmyslnej ctverecek.
Pouzivam drivery fglrx, s drivery radeon to nejelo vubec.

Zdarec.
Mám stejnej problém jako "mar10". Když najedu na druhej monitor, tak se z kurzoru stane čtverec o velikosti 2x2cm a nevim, co s tím.. Na normálním monitoru je v pohodě. Tady na fóru jsem nic nenašel. (Kdyby tu ale něco bylo, tak mě prosím nekamenujte - jsem čerstvý majitel "tučňáka")
Linuxu zdar a Ubuntu zvlášť.

Edit: Tak jsem zjistil příčinu: Je to v rozlišení, nesmím mít 1280x1024, ale 1280x960... Čili 4:3...
