Tak jsem se pokusil nainstalovat suspend2... mam balicky z tuxfamily (patchnutej kernel, suspend2 a ja nevim co este) . Do Grubu sem dopsal resume2=swap:/dev/hdc1, zakomentoval nvidii... nekde tu byl navod.
Problem je ze kdyz napisu sudo hibernate tak mi to napise "See you later!!! ", zcerna obrazovka a do vteriny sem zpet a dostanu "Welcome back!!!".. copak stim?

na Feistym mi fungoval tento návod (ale iba na tom dolnom kompe. Na tom hornom sa vždy prebudím do čiernej obrazovky - kvoli nvidia driverom - hoci tie sú aj na tom kompe dole. Každopádne za vyskúšanie nič nedáš)

asi ti to vypísalo toto isté, takže použi --force, tak ako ti to navrhuje - "sudo hibernate --force"

nebudem zakladať novú tému, keď som to už spomenul tu. Ak hibernujem počítač cez uswsusp alebo cez suspend2, vždy sa prebudí do čiernej obrazovky, klávesnica nereaguje, pomôže len trvdý reštart. Asi to bude vážne kvoli driverom (inštalované cez Restricted Drivers Manager), ale neviem sa s tým pohnúť. Ako by som to vyriešil? Hibernáicu by som potreboval

Potýkám se stejným problémem. Na vině bude pravděpodobně opravdu nVidia driver - ale nepomohl ani návrat k původním "friendly" ovladačům. Laptop se vždy bez problémů uspí, ale jak popisuješ, nikdy se neprobudí - resp. probudí se - spustí se disk (podle zvuku, alespoň si myslím, že je to disk) a pak už nic jiného. Klávesnice nereaguje, černá obrazovka...

... kdyby někdo věděl, jak vyřešit tento problém, opravdu by to pomohlo...

takže riešenie je tu. Do xorg.conf do sekcie "device" treba pridať riadok

... chtěl bych tě požádat, zda bys sem nemohl hodit vypis tveho xorg.conf a acpi-support...
