Změna graf. ovladače a následná nefunkčnost přihlášení

Zdravím,

jelikož dívat se na rozlišení 800x640 mě opravdu nebavilo, rozhodl jsem se nějak rozchodit OpenChrome ovladač i na GG (ve Feisty funguje parádně). Zkusil jsem původní postup, ale nějaké balíčky neexistuj už apod. V rámci hledání jsem tak našel i balíček pro xorg právě s tímto ovladačem. I nelenil jsem a instaloval. Leč žádná změna nenastala. Tož začal jsem se hrabat v xorg.conf (např. přejmenování všeho vesa na via) a tak jsem to zmrvil, že pomohlo až přihlášení na konzoli a reconfigure (teďka si nevzpomenu na ten příkaz). Ale už tam byla i volba VIA a i mé rozlišení. Po tomto přenastavení jsem konečně dostal plné ostré rozlišení. Měl jsem hroznou radost, ale...

... už jsem se chtěl přihlásit, ale při přihlašování to náhle spadlo a restartoval se grafický server a vrátilo mě to na přihlašovací obrazovku a pořád takhle dokolečka. Horor. Naštěstí jsem našel volbu nouzové Gnome a teď přes něj píši (ve vysokém rozlišení!). Nevíte, co by to mohlo způsobovat?

tahle chyba (chovala se stejne) pri prihlaseni alspon ve 7.04 a 6.06.1 byla kdyz byl plny HDD.
prihlas se do konzole a

sudo apt-get clean (smaze stazene soubory ze kterych se aktualizovalo)

nebo live CD (slax, ubuntu...) a promaz HDD pokud je full

ale pokud to je Xorg a nepomaha reconfigure tak nevim.

Tak volného místa mám 500 MB, záchranné Gnome funguje. Na tom disku hned tak víc nebude, protože je to jen testovací oddíl se 4 GB (což bohatě stačí ). Tam je spíš nějaký problém s GTK, protože jsem zahlédl nějaký GTK warning...

V tom vypise sa sice velmi nevyznam ale povedal by som ze mas v gname najake nastavenie alebo program ktori ti nedokaze spracovat ten novy ovladac a pri spusteni zachranneho gnome sa nespusta. Skus pozriet ci tam nemas nejake gdesklets, temu, beryl nastavenie, compiz alebo nieco podobne co by mohlo sposobovat tu chybu. Mozno to bude len nejaky efekt, mozno priehladnost.

No gdesklets, spešl téma, beryl nastavení, compiz apod. tam nemám, je to čerstvá instalace... Zajímavé, že i když vytvořím zcela nového uživatele, tak je problém ten samý... Včera jsem si s tím "hodně hrál" a nikdy se mi nepodařilo docílit plného rozlišení - jen s původním souborem xorg.conf. Takže jestli není chyba v něm... Je to zvláštní. Ale tak ještě to není ostré vydání a chybu ohledně ovladače jsem už nahlásil (ale na trochu jiné téma)... Ten OpenChrome ovladač mě ještě potrápí.
