Ubuntu 7.10 - neni bootscreen + rozmazane pismo v konzole sessions [vyřešeno]

Zdravim,
nezobrazuje se mi u Gibona bootscreen, jen 3 minuty cerna obrazovka a pak primo loginscreen..
to by az samotny moc nevadilo, jenze prepnuti do jiny session pres <ctrl><alt><F1>..<F6>..
sice funguje, ale zobrazuje rozmazany necitelny pismo..
zkousel jsem i dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg, ale porad stejny..

mam starsi notebook HP Pavilion 5200, grafika ATI IGP345 default rozliseni 1024x768

Ok, funguje, dikys..
vyhledaval jsem to na foru, ale zadat jednoduche "startovaci obrazek" me nenapadlo..

reseni:
1) v /etc/usplash.conf zmenit rozliseni na 1024x768
2) spustit prikaz sudo update-initramfs -u -k `uname -r`
