instalacia ubuntu na externy USB HDD

Nainstaloval som ubuntu 8.10 na externy disk, ale mam problem s bootovanim. v biose mam nastaveny multi boot, ktory mi vypisuje pri starte detekovane zariadenia z ktorych je mozne bootovat. ak vyberiem usb harddrive grub mi vypise error 17 (stage 1.5). grub som instaloval na hd1,1. mojim cielom bolo mat autonomny operacny system na externom disku, ktory by slapal po zapojeni na akykolvek pocitac (po uprave biosu)...avsak teraz by mi stacilo keby to aspon slo

Zkus nejdřív zkontrolovat oddíl s Ubuntu (sdb2), jestli neobsahuje chyby, třeba přes LiveCD a Správce oddílů/gParted.

Pokud nepohlo, dej tu víc informací: třeba pomocí LiveCD stáhni bootinfoscript, ulož na Plochu, spusť přes

sudo bash ~/Desktop/boot_info_script*.sh a výsledky RESULTS.txt z Plochy někam ulož, ať se na něj můžeme podívat, nebo překopíruj sem, pokud není příliš obsáhlý.

podarilo sa mi prekusnut error 17 reinstalaciou s pouzitim guide pri rozdelovani disku (dost som trpol, lebo ~500gb sa zalohuje dost tazko a uz raz som sa pri resize particii v linuxe popalil..ale tentokrat to dopadlo dobre). zmizla aj chyba na hranici particii sdb1 a sdb2 a taktiez som neinstaloval grub na sdb2,ale priamo na sdb. pri bootovani vyhadzuje uz error 18...predpokladam,ze posun o jednu chybu dalej je uspech

Zkus tu partišnu s Linuxem přesunout na začátek disku - u kámoše to pomohlo
(předem upozorňuji, že přesouvání NTFS partišen trvá v Gparted docela dlouho)

skusim to vyriesit malou particou pred ntfs, na ktoru namountujem /boot. mal by sa tam nahrat len kernel...tak som to nasiel este v noci na inych forach...no len presunut ~600gb particiu je fakt na desiatky hodin..
