Omezená přenosová rychlost modemu (nefunční EVDO)?

Ahoj, v úvodu bych chtěl poukázat na topic, kterého se to možná týká.

Zprovoznil jsem si modem Celot CTD-200 pro Vodafonní CDMA v síti Ufona. Připojení je OK, na netu funguju. Mám ale podezření, že mi systém, nebo něco jiného nastavilo umělou rychlost na USB portu tohoto modemu, protože ať už v 1 odpoledne, nebo ve 4 ráno, modem vždy přenáší data stabilní rychlostí 61KB/s (cca 512Kbit). Hýbal jsem anténou, vyměnil jsem USB port kde je to píchlé, ale stále více jsem přesvědčen, že problém bude někde na lince k modemu.

Na GSMWEBu mi poradili, že to vypadá na omezení rychlosti sériovýho portu na 460000 baudů a že se mám kouknout do /etc/ppp/peers/
Díval jsem se na návod http://storkhole.cz/ufon-linux ale problém je, že já takovéto konfigurace vůbec nepoužívám. Obsah složky peers je

provider wvdial wvdial.distrib wvdial-pipe

a ani jeden ze souborů neobsahuje nic, co by bylo možné odladit podle návodu.

Zkoušel jsem ještě koukat na porty, ale mé oko nezasvěceného do problematiky usb nenašlo nic podezřelého...

Kde může být problém, nevíte?

Editoval jsem nadpis, možná to nebude portem, pak by přicházela v úvahu jiná možnost a to ta, že by linuxový ovladač u toho modemu neuměl pracovat s EVDO, ale tlačil data přes CDMA hlasovou nosnou (z toho plyne ono omezení pod linuxem na 512 Kbit)
Na to by existovalo nějaké řešení na zkoušku?
