Pořád (už skoro týden co jsem Ubuntu nainstaloval) mi nejede zvuk.
Teď jsem zjistil, že na CD k desce (zvukovka je integrovaná) jsou ovladače ALSA pro linux.
V dokumentu je napsáno, že datum těchto ovladačů je 7/1/2005 a novější mám najít na
www.alsa-project.org, jenže tam jsem je nenašel. Jedná se konkrétně o chipset ADI AD1986A a v Synapticu jsem je taky nenašel, i když jsem dal povolit uplně všechny zdroje (na cd jsou alsa-driver, alsa-lib a alsa-utils - ty jsem v synapticu jako jediný našel). Navíc se v tom samém dokumentu píše, že pro instalaci ovladačů je potřeba Fedora Core 3. Nepoznám, jestli jsou už zkompilovaný nebo ne, sem totiž li-ma (
linux la
ma).
Poradíte mi, zda jsou už kompilovaný, nebo zda je opravdu potřeba Fedora? Nebo aspoň krok kterým se mám vydat, uplně v tom plavu... V dokumentu k instalaci se píše:

Need: Install: Fedora Core 3 (2.6 kernels)
You’d better install all the ‘Development’ related options, or maybe you can’t install the driver successfully!

Installation Guide:
Use command as follows to extract the driver:
tar jxvf alsa-driver-1.0.9b.tar.bz2
tar jxvf alsa-lib-1.0.9.tar.bz2
tar jxvf alsa-utils-1.0.9a.tar.bz2
1. Extract and go to alsa-driver-1.0.9b folder:
./configure
make
make install -> install driver
./snddevices -> to create new sound devices in /dev directory.
Note: For further instruction on how to install alsa driver, you also can view it in “INSTALL” Alsa driver folder.
2. Extract and go to alsa-lib-1.0.9 folder:
./configure
make install
Note: For further instruction on how to install lib, you also can view it in “INSTALL” lib folder.
3. Extract and go to alsa-utils-1.0.9a folder:
./configure
make install
After utils successfully installed, do the following for ALSA Configuration:
alsaconf -> ALSA Configurator
You will see an applet that asks you to configure the ALSA driver. Just follow the direction on the applet and select the soundcard.
Click YES on to modify /etc/modprobe.conf.
You will see a message say: Now ALSA is ready to use. This mean you installed and configured correctly.
Note: For further instruction on how to install utils, you also can view it in “INSTALL” utils folder.
Test:
Type “alsamixer” to see playback mixer is on the screen with codec id.
