LG L204WT (20.1) - "Out of range" při spouštění GDM [vyřešeno]

Dobrý den, již delší dobu se snažím zprovoznit widescreen LCD L204WT.  Momentálně jsem se sice dostal do touženého rozlišení 1680x1050 60Hz obnov., ale stále mne těsně před naběhnutím GDM hlásí "out of range".  Jak jsem již říkal snažím se  to dát do kupy už delší dobu.  Ještě před reklamací monitoru (opravili mi D-SUB - přes ten to nešlo vůbec - samovolně se uspával) mne to běželo přes DVI-D, až na to že při samotném spuštění počítače se různě třepal obraz, což bylo velmi nepříjemné. 

Takže si můžu vlastně vybrat:

1) připojím to přes D-SUB a bude mi hlásit "Out Of Range"
2) přes DVI-D a bude se klepat obraz při startu (a někdy i přímo v systému)

Prosím poraďte.  Pokud nevíte, aspoň mi někdo řekněte kde najdu příručku ke konfiguraci X.org a kde sehnat CVT (GTF je prý pro CRT)

problém vyřešen, přidal jsem do grubu parametr VGA=791, imho ted jede ve standardnim VESA modu a neřve to.
