Velmi dlouhé startování systému

Dobrý den mám dotaz, včera jsem si poprvé nainstaloval ubuntu verzi 8.10, pro AMD64
Instalace proběhla v pořadku, bohužel když mi najede ,,loading screen" (logo ubuntu) tak to trvá cca 15 minut než najede do systému.Zatím nemůžu porovnat běh systému, protože je to poprvé co používám ubuntu ale rychlost se mi zdá ok.

Vypni si splash a podívej se u čeho to stojí

Tuším že tady mám někde smazat ten splash ale kde a jak?
Omlouvám se ale s ubuntu pracuji cca 2 hodǩy, pokud máte i nějaký odkaz co bych měl vědět na začátek o ubuntu abych se trochu rozhýbal tak prosím pošlete taky...

Nebo můžeš po zavedení systému zadat v Terminálu příkaz dmesg a výsledek překopírovat sem (ale použij tady code-/code, bude to hrozně dlouhý!), příp. výsledek uložit do souboru (pomocí dmesg > muj_dmesg) a přiložit ho k odpovědi jako přílohu.

Zdá se, že máš problém s ACPI (0.620595 sekunda - error ve výpisu). Můžeš zkusit nabootovat bez acpi, jestli to pomůže.

Záloha souboru menu.lst: sudo cp /boot/grub/menu.lst /boot/grub/menu.lst_backup
Otevřít soubor: gksudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst

Do řádku začínajícího
kernel /boot/vmlinuz...    přidat na konec:
pci=noacpi

Uvedená sekce pak bude vypadat nějak takto.

Dobrý večer díky za příspěvky, první věc na kterou jsem díky přízpěvkům je jak se zbavit splash, to mi po prerpsani splash pri restartu docvaklo...
Bohužel dál si porad nevím rady....

Chyba v biosu, pravděpodobně DSDT tabulka (vidím chyby vztažené k ACPI, přesnému timeru)
Pro začátek zkuste jestli u výrobce desky není k dispozici aktualizovaný Bios
Pokud ne tak nabootujte s vypnutým ACPI.

Zdravím pánové, tak jsem vyzkoušel vypnout ACPI a pomohlo to system naběhne tak za cca 20-30 vteřin, bohužel nastal jeden další problém  během startu vyzkočí nějaký error na grafice a je možno bežet jen na low graphics (640x480). Tak nevim zatim budu hledat aktualizaci na bios...

Podle mé ale naprosto nejdůležitější úlohou ACPI v dnešních PC je spolupráce při nahození vysokých IRQček přes APIC. (Druhou možností, jak dosáhnout téhož, je rozhraní MPS.)

ACPI je podle mého subsystém v rámci BIOSu. Obsahuje několik tabulek, které popisují daný Motherboard. Routování IRQček se týká podle mého hlavně tabulka MADT.

Typickým důvodem, proč na některém hardwaru Linux běží jedině s acpi=off, je binec v APICových IRQčkách: zmrvený obsah MADT nebo stará verze ACPI v této oblasti, nebo stará verze "ACPI kompilátoru" od Intelu, který byl použit při vytváření BIOSu. Obvykle skutečně pomůže update BIOSu.

Linux umí routovat IRQčka několika způsoby: přes ACPI, přes MPS, nebo "po staru" bez APICu.

Pokud holému přežití Linuxu na Vašem hardwaru pomáhá acpi=off, ale přitom potřebujete někter další funkce ACPI (power management), můžete zkusit některé "méně invazivní" command-line argumenty, které ovlivňují routování IRQček:

pci=noacpi

pci=routeirq

irqpoll

Pokud se Vám povede nabootovat, ať už s acpi=off nebo jinak, mrkněte se pro zajímavost na výpis /proc/interrupts, jestli se objevila IRQčka nad 15 (tj. 16 a vyšší, typicky buď 16-23, nebo nějaká vysoká numera, jako třeba 193 nebo 209). Pokud jedete jenom s klasickým AT PICem bez APICu, tj. vidíte jenom IRQčka 0-15, budete mít asi na dnešním notebooku vysoký stupeň sdílení IRQ, což není vhodné (zvyšuje to zátěž CPU, snižuje to průchodnost různých periferií).
