Mám notebookToshiba satellite L300-1AM

je to model bez OS a nainštaloval som posledné Ubuntu, inštalácia bez problémov, funkčnosť rovnako.

Toshiba dodáva k Win modelom dvd s ovládačmi a softom na správu - Toshiba Easy Media. K tomuto modelu, ale nie je nič, ani na ich stránke (všetko je to pre Win).

Pri bootovaní mi zobrazuje toto hlásanie

Našiel som nasledovné:

pm cap regs version (7)
power management capabilities register version 7

some pci device in your computer uses version 7 which apparently is not supported by the kernel as of yet.

You can use sudo lspci -v and look to see which pci device uses version 7.

 In my case it was the LAN card. So I went into the BIOS and disabled it and did not get a message.
So there is no danger to your system. It just cannot fully manage all the power options available to one of your pci devices. Probably the NIC. Its just too bad I still have to see that dang message every time.

Ak som to správne pochopil problém nájdem po príkaze lspci -v
a v BIOSE vypnem sieťovú kartu.

Problém je u mňa asi rovnaký:

Je aj iné riešenie ??

 Zatiaľ som vypol Lan v Biose. Prejavilo sa to zaujímavo, chybová hláška zmizla a pravdepodobne sa odstránil aj problém s chladením o ktorom som nevedel. Zdalo sa mi síce čudné, že chladenie sa zapínalo na maximum až pri vysokej teplote keď cez chladenie sálalo teplo ako z taviacej pece. Teraz si chladenie tichučko pradie priebežne a teplota je nízka.
Máte podobné skúsenosti s Toshibou?
