grub - obnova

pri obnove som vždy postupoval podľa http://wiki.ubuntu.cz/GRUB/Obnova

ale teraz mi to hlásí:

po reštarte windowsu (či tam nespravil nejakú blbinu) zahlásilo, že danú jednotku nemôže vôbec mountnúť.
O niekoľko minút neskôr pri ďalšom pokuse dal znova prvú hlášku.

Čo sa mu vlastne nepáči? A nejaký nápad čo s tým?

Pracovals' předtím s oddíly? V jakém programu? (Proč je sda6 najednou sda5?)

kedysi cca pred 6 rokama som to rozdelil v programe partition magic. nevím už jaká verzia, ale hodne stará.
odvtedy sem na particie nesahal a vždy to išlo bez problémú.

edit:
a odpovedat na tvoju otázku, proč je sda5 naraz sda6 nevím. ked už odhédnu od teho, že nevím co sa pýtáš..

Pokud jsi na oddíly nesahal, proč potřebuješ obnovit Grub? Přeinstalovával jsi Win nebo něco podobného?

ano. približne tak dvakrát do roka preinštalovávám win.

ešte sem včil narazil na dalží možné riešenie. niesom si istý, či sa niekedy náhodou neupgradoval ubuntu na novšiu verziu. mám 8.04 (teda pôvodne som mal 8.04)

ale sťahoval by som to 3/4 dňa a nemám teraz ani žiadne CD. fungovalo by to aj z môjho starého live cd verzie 8.04?

no. dik za ochotu, ale pravdepodobne najlepší možnú variantú bude nejak prečkat víkend, kupit CD a vypálit a nainštalovat nové ubuntu..

Máš tam hodně nesrovnalostí v oddílech - nejlepší asi bude zazálohovat, kompletně znovu od nuly rozdělit celý disk na oddíly, nainstalovat Win a pak Ubuntu.  Jinak se problémů asi jen tak nezbavíš.

Bohužel neznám žádný jednoduchý prográmek, který by to opravil automaticky, snad kromě TestDisk, ale nemám zkušenosti.

ok. takže vec sa má takto:
dost výrazne mi pomáhal kamarát, ktorý už v linuxe fičí dlhšie.

Windows bootoval vpohode (už bol dost divný, ale išiel).
objavil som jedno čisté CD, tak som stiahol nový linux, vypálil a pustil sa do inštalácie nového.
Ked som išiel places, tak som sa vpohode mohol prehrabovať na disku.
Avšak zistil som, že ubuntu 9.10 nedokáže nájsť žiadne partície. Takže reinstal starého linuxu nepripadal v úvahu.
Celkovo som jaksi nechápal čo sa deje, tak som to spravil jednoducho. Zrušil som celý disk, vytvoril nové partície, nainstaloval nový linux a na win sa pravdepodobne vy.. bodnu úplne..

ešte raz diky za ochotu, už to mám poriešené..
