Hledal jsem něco podle čeho bych mohl posoudit 3D výkon grafické karty a narazil jsem na glmark2, který je součástí balíčků distribuce. Tak by mě zajímalo, jestli pro testy funkčnosti a výkonu 3D grafiky používáte také tento benchmark či na to máte jiné řešení?
Zajímaly by mě, jaké 3D výkony mají vaše PC, zejména ty, na kterých hrajete hry.

všímejte si verze toho nástroje, ... už si to instaluju,

update: dostávám nějaký neoprávněný příspup do paměti, tak až to vyřeším,
Mimochodem mi přibyla pro 3650hd fglrx-legacy (ppa Makson) pro 13.04 a jede na jádru 3.8

Tak koukám jsou tu dvě verze glmark2:
  • glmark2 2011.09 - podle mě pochází z Ubuntu 12.04
  • glmark2 2012.08 - tahle pochází z Ubuntu 13.04
Zajímalo by mě, jestli je to porovnatelné.

Ak ma Myrmica podobny procesor/grafiku ako ja tak su vysledky dost podobne. Ak ma modernejsi/vykonnejsi tak by to bolo sklamanie.

Mě to sice nedoběhne do konce, skončí to zhruba u 5 testu mřížovaného čtverce ale celou dobu 2x2.4GHHz byly vytíženy do 40%.

Pri glxgears procesor nevyťažuje.
1. Program vytěžuje procesor, protože sype data do grafiky. Zjednodušeně řečeno, čím lepší grafika, tím více dat se do ní musí nacpat a tím více zatížený je procesor.
2. glxgears je synchronizováno s vertikální synchronizací monitoru, proto od určitého výkonu grafiky ukazuje výkon daný právě vertikální synchronizací, i kdyby jsi si měl sebelepší kartu tak nezvýšíš počet snímků za vteřinu. Mám dojem. že to jde nějakým parametrem vypnout, ale nezkoumal jsem to.

Som robil nové merania  :)
LinuxMint 16 ,Nvidia 8600,ovladače Nouveau 1:1.09
glxgears 600 frames ,5.0 second,119.910 FPS,glmark2 score:273
Oproti ovládačom nvidia-310(319) je to dvojnasobný nárast FPS v glxgears(cca59.900),ale zase menšie score glmark2(273vs392)
Pri nvidia-173 ,glxgears 19.900 FPS,glmark2(?)

Podobně by na tom měla být karta GT630, protože je to převlečená 440.

Tak jsem si přeinstaloval grafiku v notebooku podle postupu:
Za předpokladu že máš čistou instalaci 14.04 a neinstaloval jsi ještě bumblebee... jestli jsi instaloval ovladače nvidia nebo bumblebee tak vše napřed odstraň.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nilarimogard/webupd8 -y

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install nvidia-prime prime-indicator -y

potom přepínáš grafiky jednoduše ikonkou v liště a už nikde nic nedonastavuješ a neupravuješ. ;)


EDIT: mám to otestováno na vícero počítačích ale jen na prostředí Unity.
