touchpad na Acer Aspire 3000 [vyřešeno]

prošel sem co se dalo a návody sou mi jasný, jen mám problém, že když otevřu přes terminál xorg.conf, tak tam není nic, ale přes nautilus, se dá otevřít je pro čtení a tam mi touchpad chybí. jak na to?

Určitě tam něco být musí... Spíš jste něco udělal špatně...

Pošlete váš xorg.conf.

Zkus nainstalovat mc - v terminálu - sudo apt-get install mc
Poté - v terminálu - sudo mc - spustí se midnight commander a najdi xorg.conf a označíš, zmáčkneš F4 a můžeš vesele editovat

Ukládání se provádí myslím F2 - což jsi tedy asi udělal - takže je problém úplně někde jinde. Ale to opravdu nemám tušení kde.

Udělal jsi to takto - sudo mc? Jinak mě nic nenapadá.

1. Opisujte příkazy buď přesně, nebo je raději kopírujte → musí tam být velké X - X11!
2. Vše je v pořádku → udělá to to, co má - tzn. spustí textový editor gedit (a pokud byste napsal velké X, tak by to i otevřelo soubor...).

Jak psal vojtech.t - než si zvykneš, tak kopíruj příkazy, je to nejjednodušší.

A jak to vypadá, už to funguje?

Teď už musí poradit někdo jiný, toto opravdu nevím.

přesto děkuju za snahu. už se díky foru vyřešil spoustu zásadních i nepodstatných věcí
a ubuntu mě baví čím dál víc.

Nejdřív zkus tohle: to by mohlo být ono (chybý nám bod č.3)

1. sudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf

2. Add this section below the keyboard or mouse one:

tak to zabralo.
já už sem to zkoušel jednou, ale nenapsal sem to na konec a pak mi po restartu nenaběhlo Gnome a napsalo to chybu, že synaptics je neznámé zařízení.

takže ještě jednou děkuju za spolupráci a pomoc.
