Ako zvacsit rozlisenie?[vyřešeno]

Mam nainstalovany Ubuntu 7.04.
Graficku kartu som si nainstaloval podla tohto navodu:

Povolil som restricted drivers a oznacil ati, dal OK, resetlo sa.
Nasledne som otestoval ci sa ovladace nainstalovali podla tohto navodu:

glxinfo | grep direct+otestovanie jednej hry (a nesekala).

Kartu mam integrovanu na doske ATI x1250.

Problem je ze ak dam System -> Resolution a chcem zmenit rozlisenie, tak nejde nastavit na moje rozlisenie a mam tam len tie dalsie 3 rozlisenia. Potrebujem rozlisenie 1680x1050.

EndSectionEDIT: Uz som skusil aj vsetky ostatne rozlisenia zmazat a nehat tam len 1680*1050, ale potom som videl len cast obrazovky a nevidel som spodne menu a len tak tak som dokazal spustit terminal, kedze BAR kde sa terminal nachadza mam umiestneny dole.

ta samá věc, dřív jsem měl nvidia kartu a šlo tam měnit rozlišení bez keců. s atinou se člověk nazlobí daleko víc než s nvidií. nicméně v xorgu bych to neměnil. spíš aticonfig --resolution ... ale to mi hlásí tohle:

 error at set screen resolution : screen0 does not exist

což je zase nějaká hrobařina.

hotovo dvacet, problem vyresen ... je potreba pouzit reconfigure na xorg.conf ... ja jsem si tenhle soubor krasne domrvil. je potreba vypnout gdm a pak to nastavit.
