Ati Radeon 9600 po upgrade na GG [vyřešeno]

Po upgradu na GG mi přestala chodit akcelerace. Nenahodím ji ani driverem "ati" ani "fglrx"
nemáte s tím někdo zkušenost?

aby jsi nahodil akceleraci u driveru ati tak musis odinstalovat fglrx ovladac a preinstalovat balicky libgl1-mesa-dri a libgl1-mesa-glx

Pro jistotu jsem odinstaloval proprietální ovladač .
Nyní mám v logu toto:

Napadá mě snad jen to, že je to bug ovladače z repozitáře Gutsy Gibbona, protože na FF mi tato karta běhala naprosto bez problémů. ZTvláštní je také to, že po zadání "glxinfo" mi nevypíše: "display: :0  screen: 0" ale "display: :1  screen: 0" Proč?

tak to vypada,ze akceleraci umi na opensource ovladacich v gutsym jen karty 9500 a starsi. zkus misto "ati" pouzit "radeon" nebo jestli mas "radeon" tak zkus "ati"

xorg máme prakticky identický. Teď mě ale napadlo něco jiného: když dám 'glxinfo' tak mi vypíše 'display :1 screen :0'
Takže když mu dám dotaz konkrétně:

omlouvám se za jeho velikost...
nicméně nejzajímavější je asi začátek. Znamená to, že musímnějak manuálně nastavovat DRI? {nebo DRIRC?}

Mě glxinfo vypisuje prakticky totéž, až tedy na ty chyby na začátku. Co je ale divné, že ten soubor drirc nemám, ani v /etc, ani v ~/. Ještě tam píše něco o otevírání /usr/lib/dri/r300_dri.so, máte tento soubor? Je v balíčku libgl1-mesa-dri, zkuste ho přeinstalovat.

Stalo se, žádná změna.Vygoglil jsem, že konfigurační soubory DRI jsou nepovinné, takže odtud vítr nevane.Potom by byl výpis celkem v pořádku. Otázka je, proč mě X-ka nenaběhnou na displeji :0 ale na :1

sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg který vytvoří nový xorg.conf a obnoví nastavení na výchozí, třeba se tím ten displej spraví.

Příčinou problému bylo skutečně XGL. To se pokoušelo naběhnout na akcelerovaném displeji 0,0 kde se mu to s drivery ATI nepovedlo, tak mě kopnul na displej 1,0 který už ovšem akcelerovaný není. Kouzelná formule tedy zní:
