Gutsy Gibbon - dvě obrazovky

Zdravím,
upgradoval jsem si ubuntu na 7.10 a zjistil jsem že přibylo jakési nastavení dvou obrazovek, nazvané 'Obrazovky a grafické karty'.. Vlastním EIZO FlexScan L557 (1280x1024) a NEC MultiSync 20WGX pro (1650x1050), na předchozí verzi ubuntu jsem se nepokoušel editovat soubor xorg.conf, takže jsem neměl plochu rozprostřenou na dvě obrazovky, teď bych však chtěl když vidím že by to mělo jednoduše jít. :]
Bohužel se mi to pořád nedaří nastavit.. EIZO by nastavit šel, ale NEC (který chci používat jako hlavní monitor) nejde.

Prosím o pomoc,
má graf. karta je ATI Radeon X850.

PS. linux mám nainstalován asi dva dny :]

ale napred si urcite zalohuj xorg.conf .

cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf > /etc/X11/xorg2.conf && chmod a=r /etc/X11/xorg2.confuprav si rozliseni v novem xorg.conf a restartuj.

Na FF jsem s tim mel trochu problem s intel kartou, ale na ATI to snad bude fungovat, pokud ne tak nabootuj do safe-mode a napis

obrazovky jedou, mohu mezi nimi dokonce prejizdet mysi. muj Xorg.cong vypada takto:

... jak radil DuckD, spusti se linux v "zachranem rezimu", nebo jak se to presne jmenuje...

navic z navodu plyne ze se nema pouzivat jiny ovladac nez stahnuty z ATI stranky. kdyz vsak vypnu "nesvobodny" ovladac, spusti se linux opet v "zachranem rezimu", coz mi pripada taky divne.
taky me docela stve, ze graficka karta vydava priserny rachot a to v cca 30s vlnach. predtim nedelalo.

kdo pomuze je boss

supr, jede to, akorat ten druhy monitor (vlevo) ma nastavene sirokouhle rozliseni (jako hlavni obrazovka), takze kdyz jedu mysi na jeho levou stranu tak se obraz pohne...
snad vis co myslim.
zatim diky mockrat.

Ja sice mam Nvidiu ale, ked zapnem funkciu xinerama tak direct reendering sa automaticky vypne.
A nefunguje mi potom compiz. S tym sa ale neda asi nic robit.

nastaveni rozliseni na tvrdo nepomohlo. porad se to tvari jako sirokouhla obrazovka. navic grafika porad zbesile huci. :/

reinstaloval jsem ubuntu, protoze jsem si to dodrbal tak moc ze to ani nechtelo najet.
zkousel jsem strasne moc nastaveni pro dva monitory co jsou na internetu. ani jeden mi vsak nesel spravne.. bud sly dva monitory spravne, ale nesly efekty, nebo naopak.
momentalne muj xorg vypada nasledovne
