2 monitory?

Zdravím,
mám problém s připojením 2 monitorů. Rád bych dosáhl podobného výsledku jako jsou 2 monitory ve windows vedle sebe, kdy můžu přetahovat okna zleva doprava. Kdykoliv se ale snažím něco nastavit přes grafické rozhraní, po restartu už X nenastartuje a musim obnovit xorg.conf. Od startu počítače vidím na obou monitorech to samé ať nastavuju v linuxu cokoliv, a vypadá to, že ani o jednom monitoru neví. Můžete mi poradit, případně mně odkázat na nějaké články? Díky.

OS: Kubuntu 8.04
