nevidím usb flash disk [vyřešeno]

mám teď dva dny nově nainstalované Ubuntu (zpátky 8.04) a nepřipojují se mi usb flash disky (oba), usb myš normálně funguje ... procházel jsem tady fórum a zkoušel hledat, problém je, že ty flashky vůbec nejsou vidět přes fdisk ani v /etc/fstab o nich není zmínka ... ve windows flashky fungují, budu vděčný za nápady, děkuji ... ps.: použil bych google, ale já vlastně nevím, co mám vůbec hledat

zkus ten dmesg kouknout vic, kde vsude se vyskytuje usb... (bez tailu a dojet na konec), pripadne spust v konzoli lshal -m a pripoj a vypis

ps. ne ze bych ti poradil, ale nekdo se urcite chytne

no jestli se v tom dmesg někdo vyzná ... ten výpis je nepříjemně dlouhý, věděl by někdo z moderátorů jak dát tu citaci do autoscroll? ... a pak je tu ten problém s usb flashdisky

s tím lshal -m si nevím rady ... napíše start monitoring device list, ale nic dál se neděje ... když vypojím usb myš a znovu připojím, vypíše to tři řádky ... ale u usb flash disku ani prd

nová teorie ... přepnul jsem do windows, pro kontrolu, připojil znovu flashku ... obsah se zobrazil ... jen jsem si tentokrát všiml malého upozornění:

Velkokapacitní paměťové zařízení USB je vysokorychlostní zařízení USB a při připojení k nízkorychlostnímu portu bude fungovat se sníženou rychlostí

taky píše, že tam mám na USB Root 8 nepoužívaných portů

jestli se nemýlím, tak se mi to nějak překlaplo na USB 1.1 a s USB2 neumí najednou pracovat (a to je i chyba asi v linuxech)

pátral jsem v paměti ... minulý týden se mi na openSUSE přehřál notebook, mohlo by to být tím? že jsem si něco odpálil ...

rád bych toto téma uzavřel, přikládám konec příběhu, třeba se to bude ještě někomu hodit

 ... věc se má tak, že ty usb opravdu odešly a pravděpodobně za to mohlo to jedno jediné přehřátí notebooku při běhu openSUSE (sorry ntz :-p) ... acer byl v servisu, vyměněna celá základní deska

v těchhle případech je užitečný výpis dmesg, našel jsem tam zmínku o error :-)

no já bych si ho už dneska taky nekoupil ... na reklamaci už byl potřetí, jenže ti rošťáci po každé si zapsali závadu jinak a takhle to prej podle svých podmínek můžou dělat donekonečna ... uklidňuje mne, že už mi vyměnili monitor, disk a teď základní desku a snad acerboy vydrží než se školství pochlapí a koupí mi nový nebo než si na nový ušetřím sám :-)
