You must make sure that your system has the following packages installed.

1) Start 'YaST' in the 'Control Center'.
2) Click on 'Software' -> 'Installation Source'.
3) Select HTTP as media type and click 'Next'.
4) In the Server Name text box write:
download.opensuse.org/distribution/SL-10.0-OSS/inst-source/ and
click 'Next'.
5) When back in YaST Control Center, click on 'Software Management'.
6) Install packages 'gstreamer', 'gstreamer-plugins' and
'gstreamer-plugings-extra' (version 0.8.11-3).
Fedora Core 6 Zod

1) Under the Applications menu choose Add/Remove software.
2) Select the search tab and search for gstreamer08.
3) Check the packages gstreamer08 and gstreamer08-plugins click

To install libgstreamer on Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn the 'universe' Ubuntu
repository must be available. To enable it, please do the following:

repository by Settings -> Repositories -> check 'Community
