Problémy se sítí

Chci se zeptat někoho zkušeného na opravdu podivné chování sítě. Připojení sice běží, dokonce jsem si stáhnul nový ovladač, ale načítají se jen některé stránky. Když skusím pingnout DNSky tak je občas nenajde vůbec a občas to běží v pohodě, přes traceroute mi skoro nikdy nenajde k DNSkám cestu a na stránky zdrojů se nedostanu vůbec, dokonce se občas nedostanu ani sem na fórum. Pod win vista všechno běží v pohodě,takže mám následující otázky

1) kde se dá v Ubuntu 8.10 nastavit Netbios nad protokolem tcp/ip?
2) je možné aby brána,router či server filtrovali různé OS?-to je blbost ne?
3) jak je možné že pod win běží síť normálně a pod ubuntu prostě odmítá načíst určíte adresy?
4) je možné použít jinou DNS než mi přidělil provider?

Tak to vypadá, že jsem to zprovoznil  změnil jsem DNS servery a stránky, které se nenačítaly už fungují. Teď bych už jen potřeboval 100% funkční sources.list, protože vším tím nastavováním a přepisováním mi některé zdroje hlásí chybu takže pokud by ho sem někdo postnul pokud možno i se zdrojemi třetích stran pro interpid, budu vděčný a díky za rady
