Zdravím

vyskytl se problém. Nelze spustit tv kartu. procestoval jsem strýčka googla ale ne.

Snažil jsem se postupovat podle
http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Hauppauge_WinTV-HVR-1200

ale vůbec jsem nedošel na to jak mám dostat ten firmware do firmware.

Sel jsem na to "po jezedacku"! tady http://www.turnovfree.net/~stybla/linux/firmware/v4l/ jsem stahnul (prvni 3 se tykaji tehla karty) -v konzoli jsem si se sudo spustil gnome commander a v nem jsem proste a jednoduse nakopiroval  ty 3 fw soubory do /lib/firmware/  a i do /lib/firmwarw/"akt.cislo jadra/...reset a uz to jede.BOHUZEL jen jako dvb-t...analog jsem nerozjel...zatim. Snad ti to pomuze...

U tvtime mi to háže všechny ty věci výše popsané,
jinak co psal Vítr jsem vše udělal i před tím ale jak psal je to pro digital.
Ach jo já se na t televizi snad nepodívám

Nemůžu rochodit zvuk u s Tvtime u své karty v PC s Ubuntu 8.04. Na příkaz
sox -r 32000 -w -t alsa hw:1,0 -t alsa hw:0,0
dostanu odpoveď
sox soxio: Failed reading `hw:1,0': unknown file type `alsa'

U Mplayeru mi obraz i zvuk sice chodil, ale nezjistil jsem, jak přepínat kanály  

Nemáte nekdo nejaký nápad, jak vyřešit jedno nebo druhé?

Pomocí gstreamer-properties zkoukněte, jaké to máte vlastně hw porty. Pak upravte větu na

sox -t alsa hw:1,0 -t alsa hw:0,0 a případně podle nálezu.

Postup nepomohl. HW porty mám asi správné, odpovídají Vašemu příkazu. Hláška unknown file type `alsa' , ale přetrvává. Moc to nechápu, ale není problém práve tady? Že by sox neznal ALSA?

A nebo chybí alsa mixér, zkuste nainstalovat vše, co má v názvu alsa....uvidíme.
Zkuste i instalaci pomocí LiveCD, zda bude rozdíl. "Lajfka" bývají jaksi lépe vybavena.

Tak se zdá, že ani ALSA player nestačí. A upřímne, s tím Live CD jsem to nepochopil. Vždyť nainstalovaná distribuce získává aktualizace!?

To jo, ale LiveCD je lépe připravena a trochu jinak. Praxe ukazuje rozdíly.
No nevadí, zkuste novou instalaci do vedlejšího oddílu, určitě máte prostor na disku. Já to tak dělám, když je neřešitelný problém.
