Dobrý den, jsem tu poprve,tak me prosim omluvte pokud se ptam na neco co se zde uz resilo, neco o mem problemu jsem zde samozrejme uz nasel, jenomze jsem tomu vubec nerozumel tak to pisu sem. 15 let pouziam Win tak je uz snad cas na zmenu. Ubuntu se me moc libi, ale bez netu je pro me nepouzitelny. Pri instalaci 3g modemu se vse tvari super a chce to po me jen cislo, jmeno a heslo. Pri pokusu o pripojeni to po me chce nejaky dalsi heslo, nevim co jako, jiny heslo nez ufon neni k pripojeni potreba, zadam heslo modem se na par sekund pripoji a zase hned odpoji. Nechapu to . Ty zkusenejsi z Vas urcite vedi co je to za problem, tak Vas prosim o radu jak ten internet zprovoznit. Jinak pres LAN net jede bez problemu.
Jo a wifi v pcmcia me to taky nenaslo :-(
Diky vsem kdo poradi, chci dat u me ubuntu jeste sanci.

Zkoušel jste vaše uživatelské "heslo"  ? TO které se zadává při loginu do systému

to jsem taky zkoušel a nic  jinak jsem zapoměl napsat že jde o ubuntu 9.10 desktop

Já jsem na to už přišel    modem musím zapojit až když ubuntu naběhne  potom se připojí okamžitě bez dotazu na heslo . Juchuuu ubuntu má u mě šanci , ted ještě najít ovladač na wifinu Vigor 520 pcmcia a funguje vše .

Hm- zkusil bych google,mělo by určitě být řešení aby se ta karta nemusela připojovat až po startu.

Jinak na tu WiFi by měl být tento ovladač : http://acx100.sourceforge.net/

Příkaz lspci by měl v terminálu vypsat něco jako : ACX 100 22Mbps Wireless Interface - když bude ta karta zastrčená

Na tu stránku jdem koukal, asi tam je to co potřebuju, ale já tomu vůbec nerozumím    , já jsem byl zvyklej na něco jako download driver , ale tady si fakt nevím rady. Asi mě čeká hodně učení, a to jsem si myslel že počítačům aspon trochu rozumím, ale vidím že umím prd

Tak podle mě by měl být ovladač už v jádře. Zkusil bych :
- nechat naběhnout systém
- strčit WiFi kartu do slotu
- otevřít terminál a hodit sem výpisy povelů : lspci , dmesg tail a případně ještě iwconfig

PS: tyvýpisy vlkádat pomocí ikonky code # v tomhle formuláři

Ještě se vrátím k tomu jak se mě podařilo rozjet ten axesstel. Cistá instalace bez aktualizace, přidat cdma připojení, vyplnit #777, ufon, ufon, nic víc nezměněno, pokus o připojení se nezdaří. Odebrat cdma připojení. Restart pc a modemu. Po startu opět přidat cdma připojení vyplnit číslo, jméno , heslo a už to nede. NECHAPU TO !!! Ale jede to .

Ta karta jse spravne rozpoznana , takze driver je pritomen , ale je asi potreba stahnout a nahrat firmware.
Podle teto Wiki je potreba jit na stranky http://web.archive.org/web/20060510135035/http://acx100.erley.org/acx_fw/acx1xx.htm a postupne vyzkouset ktery firmware bude ten pravy. Tedy :
- stahnout prislusny soubor/archiv ze sekci acx100 cards (802.11b + 22Mbit 'turbo' mode) pripadne kdyby ani jeden nezabral zkusti jeste nejaky pro USB modely
- ten xxxxxx.bin soubor (pokud archiv nutno predtim rozbalit) nakopirovat do /lib/firmware
- k tomu je potreba mit administratorska prava , takze treba v Nautilu - pruzkumniku - kliknout na adresar /lib pravym tlacitkem a dat : open as root , zadat heslo .... pak uz copy/paste
- reset - vyzkouset - pripadne smazat a zkusit jiny
Karty bude funkcni bud pokud se po restartu objevi moznost bezdratovych siti pod ikonou sitoveho pripojeni v panelu nebo pokud prikaz iwconfig vypise neco jineho nez no-wireless-extension
Kazdopadne doporucuju procist tu debian-wiki a zkouset a zkouset. Mozna bych zacal kde se v ty Wiki pise :

Tak jsem zkusil všechny 3 ovladače , včetně toho usb, a nani ťuk. Nakopíroval jsem to do toho adresaře firmware a žádná změna. Vážím si všech rad a Vašeho času , tak ještě jednou díky . Podívám se po nějaký novější wifině, která bude podporována . Díky a hezký večer, Petr

Toto je moje téma na tomto foru, tady jsem začal a tady i zkončím. Z linuxem jsem se pral cca 3 týdny, zkontaktoval jsem distributora a dostal od něj zdarma placku v ubuntu 9.10. -DIKY. Tak jsem šel hned na to, bál jsem se co to vůbec bude, tak jsem si to dal na NB kde nemám nic důležitýho. Zvolik jsem dual boot abych mohl i do XP a nainstaloval ubuntu na druhý disk (rozdělený). Instalace bez problémů cca 60min. Ještě večer jsem si to procházel a zkoumal co to umí. Druhý den ráno zapnu NB a nic  jen psal grub error.  Hm dobrý, nic jsem tam neměl , tak jsem znovzu instaloval, tentokrát už na celý disk. Ubuntu jelo docela svižně. Internet přes LAN jel okamžitě. Grafika je Ati tak jsem musel vypnout všechny efekty, jinak se mě ukazovali okna třeba jen poloviční. A došlo na ufona, modem axesstel jsem nedokázal donutit fungovat, asi po 5ti dnech se to povedlo a už jsem věděl jak na něj - logiku v tom nehledám - žádná tam není. Už jsem měl zkoro vše co potřebuju, až na wifi. Pcmcia karta acx100, naprosto mrtvá. Všeljáké dohrávání ovladačů bez výsledku, tak jsem zase ztrávil 5 dnů na tomto foru a zjistil že existuje ten "swraprer" . Wifi jsem nainstaloval jedním kliknutím, karta začka blikat . Tak jsem si myslel že je vyhráno , wifi sítě jsem viděl, včetně tý mojí. Ale radost byla předčasná, vůbec jsem se nemohl připojit. Zkončil jsem na hlášce "nebyla přidělena IP adresa " nebo tak nějak. Tohle bylo 5 posledních bezesných nocí. Ani widcd se nedokázal připojit. Jsem uživatel a ne programátor, linux je běžným smrtelníkům pořád hodně daleko. Takže co říci závěrem, kluci ať Vám to frčí, mě to prostě nejede, díky všem co mě jakkoliv poradili. Počkám na nějakou další distribuci ,která bude trochu víc fungovat. Mějte se fajn  Petr

Chci Vám všem jen napsat, že jsem tu zpět s ubuntu 10.10. a musím říct že je to fakt rozdíl. Axssestel jede na první zapojení a restart - je vidět že na tom někdo zapracoval. Jen Wifi sítě typu ad-hoc jsou pořád asi problém. Zatím se jen rozkoukávám , ale je to čím dál lepší. Petr

Držím palce.Nie je to skôr problém nastevenia IP adresy?Teda, že ubuntu si myslí, že na routery je DHCP a na routery to nemáš zapnuté?Mne vždy všade všetko išlo...nosím so sebou LiveUSB pre každý prípad, aj keď som prívržencom Arch linuxu.

Právě že žádný router nemám. Hlavní PC je připojen k netu usb modemem a wifi kartou nastavenou na typ sítě ad-hoc posílá net ven. Druhý PC se připojuje k netu přes wifi svou kartou připojenou k síti ad-hoc. Ve win to takhle normálně funguje, v ubuntu ne :-(  Konfiguraci ip adres nerozumím , vždycky jsem měl všechno nastavený na automatiku.
