ubuntu 10.04 zamrzá při práci s diskem [vyřešeno]

Zdravim
Systém se mi z ničeho nic (myslim bez nějakých úprav či aktualizací) začal zamrzat, zkrátka je s nim skoro nemožná práce. OVšem správce procesů neukazoval nějaký zvlášť zatěžující proces, tak jsem začal podezřívat disk, ovšem SMART test i test povrchu dopadl v pořádku. Ale.... :

Po aktualizaci systemu (jako myslim apt-get upgrade) se to zda byt v pohode, ale v seznamu aktualizaci byli myslim jen nejake knihovny, jadro nikoliv, tak asi nejaka chyba, co se opravila.

Tak jsem to zakřikl, po vypnutí a zapnutí stroje, problém opět zpět a opět v dmesg hlášky  failed command: WRITE DMA atp. Bude to asi teda spíš hardwarový problém (?), ale test povrchu i smart se zdá být v pohodě, a disk nevydává žádné podivné zvuky, teplota taky  v normálu. Tak nevim, co by s tim diskem jinak mohlo bejt, leda změřit napětí zdroje? Zkusim teda to jiné jádro...

Díky za nasměrování.
Vyměnil jsem datovej kabel, práce se o něco urychlila (v dmesg už nejsou vidět chybové hlášky), ale stále rychlost nedosahuje původních hodnot (systém je podle mě zpomalenej kvůli rychlosti disku, cpu zatíženo minimálně, swap skoro na nule)..., stále se s tím nedá přílíš pracovat...

Chápu tenhle výpis dobře tak, že disk podporuje UDMA/100, ale systém si stejně nastaví UDMA/33? Pokud ano, tak protože někde vázně komunikace, nebo proto, že to mam blbě nastavený? Dík.

Nový typ mal 2x viac drátov, každý druhý drát je uzemnený. Radič to dokáže otestovať a nastaviť rýchlosť.
Druhá možnosť - ak je na tom istom kábli aj CD/DVD mechanika radič sa prispôsobí pomalšiemu zariadeniu.

A teď to vypadá, že tam nastavil UDMA/100. Subjektivně se mi zdá, že třeba spuštění www prohlížeče, nebo přihlášení do gnome trvá trochu déle, ale už je to docela použitelný, takže prostě hardwarový problém.
